We love the Firekeeper's Daughter, so this review kit is perfect!! Everything included is perfect. The colors are bright and vivid and such a perfect match for the book!
The suggested titles are very much appreciated, as are the resources, trigger warnings and hotlines.
Thank you for this resource!

This book kit is a great resource for librarians/teachers looking to host a book club or book tasting. This book carries such a powerful message and the author interview helps deepen the understanding of the importance of this book that can be found in the pages. The discussion questions are thought provoking, the books to read next list is perfect to provide to students to keep them engaged in their reading journey, and the list of support for Indigenous communities is a great tool for students who want to be involved.

This is a very good book club resource. The information and questions will greatly help me lead a discussion with it for next year with my book club.

I will be using this book club kit for my book club later this year. It is so nice that I already have the discussion questions ready to go and I don't have to go looking for them later on. Thank you! I recommend this kit!

This book club kit has everything I could want to present to my patrons. It goes far beyond discussion questions. I am so excited to share this guide with them and wish I had one of these kits for every book club pick.

After finishing this short but sweet kit, I feel it added to the reading experience and provided lots of topics for discussion among readers.

The author's interview is really great. It was nice to know the person behind the story, and I loved the insight into her writing process.

I think content warnings are always appreciated. We can never be too prepared when starting a new novel and when it comes to triggers it's better to be overly aware.

The other elements in the book club kit, such as the playlist, further book recommendations and recipes, would be perfect for an in-person book club. The extra book recommendations were great too. The reader questions opened up a discussion about the characters, plot and setting. I appreciated the ways in which we as readers could support Indigenous communities, something I previously wasn't aware of.

The only thing that may not be successful is presuming people are attending in-person book clubs when in reality, social media and virtual book clubs are more popular and prevalent in the book community, especially since Covid-19. The digital space among readers has exploded, so I think targeting the online community is very beneficial.

Love this tool! It’s my turn to host book club this summer and I’m feeling more than ready with this kit. I had already read Firekeeper’s Daughter and chose it for my book club pick. I am so looking forward to the discussion and was thrilled to find this kit to share author insight, questions, and further reading suggestions. Thank you for this!

**I received a free ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.**

It was my first time opening a book club kit. I figured it would just be a questionnaire set of questions about the book, but I was positively surprised to find so much more, including free, beautiful bookmarks. I really enjoyed this download.

This novel easily contends for my top 5 favorite books that I read in 2023. There were so many topics covered but they were all handled and given their own time to flourish such as mystery/investigation, native community/culture, science, love, hockey, etc. This also takes place in MI where I'm from so it holds a little bit of a special place too because I can name and imagine the places they go to. I was hooked from the first chapter. I cannot recommend this enough (many trigger warnings though so be forewarned)!

I really like that this book club kit came with printable bookmarks. That was a nice touch. There aren't many questions though and is only comprehension based which isn't my favorite style.

I could've felt the story slowly paced in the beginning. But after passing up chapter by chapter I could've felt enjoyed and enchanted by what a wonderful of this story.

It was a powerful story that had out me in Native American's culture, traditions, and community. As someone who does not know much about Native cultures, as it created new ecleriences and ideas for me.

Yet thi is a YA kind of novel, but there were some trigger warnings i should deliver before reading this book such as sexual violance, rape, drugs usage, and kidnapping. Please read this book if you enjoy a crime of mtstery kind of story.

Omg read this book. There is so much to unpack here. The way the author told the story of so many Native American family through the eyes of a young girl was pure genius. Daunis the main character will capture your heart with her wittiness and fun spirit. She is super smarts and is learning to find herself between two worlds. The Native American one and the white mans. This book has everything it touch’s on rape, fraud in tribal casinos, the meth epidemic and drug smuggling to name a few. I finished this book very quickly because I had to know what happened. Happy reading.

This book club kit went above and beyond, really great resource from NetGalley/We Are Bookish!

The graphics, printable bookmarks, author interviews, content/trigger warnings at the beginning of the kit where they should be, books to read next (with cover art and synopsis), indigenous community resources. This book club kit is thoughtful, beautiful, and written by readers for readers! I was expecting a one or two pages of discussion questions, but this kit is everything you need to help foster and support a quality book discussion.

This is a great resource for a book club. There is information from an author interview and even bookmarks to hand out to people. The questions are very broad and allow for complex analysis. In addition, there are references to other indigenous authors to further someone's reading.

Another awesome kit. I loved the printable book marks and Indigenous resources. The inclusion of trigger warnings was also a very important touch. Please keep creating these book club kits.

This Kit was a great help to our Book Club as they had not read an indigenous author before. The Bookmarks were a nice touch and the discussion guides helped us when discussing the book. The group felt that the next reads recommendations were great as they wanted to read more around the subject and by indigenous authors. Thank you.

I received this in exchange for a honest review. I actually have not read the book. But this is a book club kit that I will use if we do read this book. It had different sections and great topics for a book club discussion. I love these kind of things to help people with their book clubs.
