Over the Moon With You by Jaime Clevenger
<book description>
Paige is a veterinarian who is living with her mother temporarily until she can find a house on some land to buy, fulfilling her dream of having her own farm. But when Paige’s mother gets injured she asks Paige to fill in for her at the water aerobics class she teaches. Paige has never taken, let alone taught, a water aerobics class, but she feels like she owes her mom for letting her move back home, and her mom swears teaching the class is easy to do. What could go wrong?

Seren’s back in town to sell her mother’s house, who passed away after a battle with cancer. But so far, Seren hasn’t been able to bring herself to put the house on the market. She’s busy being a massage therapist and, oh yeah, growing a baby. Seren’s OBGYN has recommended she try water aerobics, in lieu of her normal exercise regimen, for the rest of her pregnancy, and at her very first class she runs into Paige, the new/temporary instructor. Literally…runs into Paige, knocking her into the pool. What a meet-cute!

There’s instant chemistry between the two and neither of them can deny it. But Seren didn’t plan on staying in town permanently and she vowed to focus on herself and her new baby; there isn’t room in her life for a girlfriend. So they try just being friends, and it works for a minute. The sparks catch fire and the two women start falling head over heels for each other.

Paige is ready to be anything and everything for Seren, but Seren isn’t sure what she wants her future to look like and ends up pushing Paige away. Love and lust and family and friendship weaved together to make this a fantastic sapphic love story. Pick up this book to find out for yourself how great it is!

Seren Winters is four months pregnant. The last thing she expects from water aerobics class is the instructor to be a hot, single butch woman. When Paige Dannenberg's mom injures herself, Paige reluctantly agrees to fill in as the instructor. The class is filled with the usual snarky elderly women but it's the beautiful woman who knocks Paige in the pool with her noodle that Paige can't take her eyes off of.

This was a fun read. The two main characters are so incredibly likeable that you want nothing more than for them to get their happily ever after. Seren decided to have a child on her own and that's what she wants to focus on but she can't deny her attraction to Paige. And who can blame her. Paige is a farm vet when she isn't teaching water aerobics. She is so damn sweet it' would be a crime for Seren not to give in to her attraction. These two are perfect for each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and like most of Jaimie's books, this one is hot, hot, hot!
Add in the hilarious elderly women in the aerobic class and you get an enjoyable, delightful book that will bring a smile to your face.

Life was going well for Dr. Paige Dannenberg, she worked in a small but busy clinic where both house pets and livestock. Now she’s living with her mother and while that wasn’t that awfully bad she was still looking for a small farm where she could indulge herself by raising all kinds of animals. Her mother spent her time socializing with some other elderly ladies. In her spare time she even taught water aerobics. That’s until she hurts her back and talks Paige into teaching the class for her. Seeing as Paige has never even seen water aerobics it should be interesting watching her teach.
Seren Winters, pregnant, was at a crossroad. She’s waited long enough to be a mother and has decided to go it alone. She hadn’t planned on having to move back home to look after her mother when she’d been diagnosed with cancer. What was supposed to be a short visit turned into Seren living with her mother during her final days. Now with her mother gone she needs to go through her mothers things and on top of that sell her moms house. Always active she now had to modify her exercise routine. So on her doctor's advice she joins a water aerobics class.
This is how our two main characters meet and along with a great supporting cast has made this a story well worth reading. Very nice read.

Over the Moon with You is a great read and I would recommend. This is the first novel I've read from author, Jaime Clevenger, and I can't wait to delve into her other books.
I enjoyed the witty banter, steamy sex scenes, and cast of crazy old ladies. This is a book I could see myself returning to again on a good rainy day to fill some idle hours.

A Clevenger book that ended up being right up my alley with lots of cute animals, great main characters, some banter and smalltown life. The fact that the pregnancy was a deliberate choice through a clinic and not with exes and stuff being there to complicate things made me enjoy the story even more.
The concerns both parties have when it comes to joining lifes just as a one of the pair is pregnant are valid and are handled well I believe. Overall a sweet story I would recommend to anyone who likes a good romance from time to time.

***Thank you Bella Books and Netgalley for giving me the chance to read and review this book***

This latest from Clevenger is a nice sweet read. This features MCs Paige, a veterinarian whose mother has had a fall and ropes Paige into teaching her aqua aerobics class, and Serendipity (Seren), who is four months pregnant and taking the class to help with morning sickness.

The first meeting is a “meet cute”, and a lot of this book reads like a romcom, with a gaggle of funny older ladies taking the class and both Seren’s BFF, Leslie, and Paige’s mother, Bea, providing some lighter moments.

Seren is trying to come to terms with her mother’s death and the fact that she doesn’t like living in the small town she was forced to return to to care for her mother, while Paige returned because she wants to live there. Seren is also not looking to date or for commitment and this got a bit repetitive in the latter part of the book when their relationship takes off.

I enjoyed watching their relationship unfold and how they got to know each other, both characters are lovely, together and separately. There was plenty of humour and chemistry between them and the supporting characters were a delight. I especially loved Leslie, and liked that Paige’s ex, Connie, wasn’t portrayed negatively. I wouldn’t mind reading a follow up about either (or both) of those characters.

I did feel the pacing was a bit off, the first 50% or so takes place over a few weeks, which means large time jumps are needed to get to the baby’s birth at the end of the book. There’s the requisite “break” towards the end that seems a bit over the top and could have just been handled with a mature conversation, but we all know lesfic requires “drama”. Given how central to the book the baby is, I also found the choice in the final chapter to be a bit odd.

Overall though, this is a sweet romance between engaging characters. Clevenger fans should enjoy this. 3.5 stars.

Strap on's! ....

Now I have your attention, let me tell you about this little gem of a read!

We have a little banter, meddling old ladies, friends to lovers, pregnancies and babies, and baby cows! What more could you need, right? The book is about gaining trust, moving on, all in a small town setting. It's good book with a nice story, the ending I thought was rushed and seemed to end abruptly. But all in all, I did enjoy it... Maybe a sequel to see what happens after?

I've given ‘over the moon with you’ a 4 out 5

When her mom needs someone to temporarily take over her water aerobics classes, Paige can’t say no, even though she’s never done water aerobics before and rhythm doesn’t come naturally to her. The class is mainly sassy old ladies, and a pregnant woman. At thirty-eight, Seren has decided that the time has come for her to be a mom. A no-strings relationship with a cute/toppy vet/aerobics instructor to take advantage of the horny pregnancy hormones sounds great once she admits there’s no point in fighting the attraction.

This was a fun and enjoyable read. I liked Seren a lot. I struggled a bit with Paige though, I never quite figured her out. I did root for them both anyway, Clevenger made the whole bad timing aspect work well and I loved them together. As always with this author, you get a good mix of sweet and hot. There are also a few hilarious secondary characters. Funnily enough, I didn’t think I needed more of them while I was reading but now that I’m writing this review, I kinda do. I needed a bit more of everything. Except for the steamy scenes, those are 🔥 (yeah, I decided emojis in reviews are okay). 3.5⭐️

I received a copy from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 out of 4 stars. I loved this book . The characters were sweet and very easy to cheer for. I haven’t read Clevenger’s books before, but going by how good this book was I would happily read another. Thank you to Net Galley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you are looking for a great meet/cute story this one is for you. I have loved Ms. Clevenger's books so I had not doubt this one would be right up there with the others...and I was not wrong.

I was cheering for Seren and Paige right off the bat. I felt the the courage for Seren to have a baby alone gave here such a strong presence and the humor Ms. Clevenger gave her with being pregnant, just had me smiling. As Paige comes into the picture as her instructor and the click between them, I just knew this was going to be great ride as these two got to know each other.

There is the supporting characters of the water ladies, they bring such humor to the storyline, I felt like I wanted to jump in to the water and take part they all were so fun. This book is just a fun summer read and if you are looking for a light, fun, laugh out load story, pick this up before you stroll to the beach for the day.

Wow, just Wow. I did not read the first book in this series and I was able to follow the storyline just fine. This is the first book I have read from this author so I was going in with no expectations and I can tell you I was blown away.

The main characters, Gwen and Taylor, have just so much chemistry, you feel the long developed friendship right away, given Gwen just makes coffee and brings it to the shower where Taylor and her latest are going at it <smile>. The banter and dialog is just so great, humorous and when need be very meaningful among all the characters. As I realized there is a book before this one around other characters but I felt I didn't need to know that storyline to love this one, BUT I do plan to pick that book up soon.

The story flows along well, and the 'twist' part way in was just not seen and really gave a new direction to the story. As the story unfolds and the twists and turns along the way had me turning the pages well into the night. I really wasn't sure how the relationships were going to turn out, but I can say I was very satisfied with the ending.

Not sure if there will be more to this series given the other supporting characters but I will definitely be looking out for more books/stories from this author.

I received an ARC through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review, but would have written the same opinion if I had come across this author on my own.

To see my Amazon review, it is under CC-Great summer read

I’m glad I was able to read Over the Moon With You by Jaime Clevenger. This novel has just about everything I could ask for in a WLW romance. In this adorable love story we have two beautiful main characters as well as a secondary group of folks that includes some spicy elderly ladies. I want to be one of those ladies when I get to be their age. To add even more to the adorable factor in this tale, we have cute and cuddly animals, including baby cows…just born baby cows.

Paige Dannenberg is a veterinarian in the small town of Davis, but she ends up teaching her mother’s water aerobics class after her mother breaks her tailbone…yes, her coccyx bone, and you must read the conversation Page has with her mother. This is how Paige meets Serendipity (Seren) Winters. Seren is going to be a single mom in about five months and has been encouraged to take the class for exercise. They don’t exactly have the perfect first meeting, but there is definitely an interest kindled between the two. If they can just get over the hurdles in the way of true love.

These characters are so well-developed, you almost expect them to step out of the book and begin a conversation with you. The small town/rural setting is also well-described. The love story will melt your heart, and the lovable animals (Did I mention the baby cows?) will finish the heart-melting. This really is a beautiful character-driven romance, but I expect nothing less from Jaime Clevenger.

I loved this novel and recommend it to all romance readers and animal lovers.

Jaime Clevenger is one of my favorite authors, and for her to finally write a veterinarian MC is a bonus! This is a butch/femme story with loads of chemistry between Paige and Seren. I enjoyed both the behind-the-scenes look at the world of large animal medicine and also the home remodeling aspects. Plenty of emotional moments as well, as is to be expected when dealing with a pregnancy. Overall, an enjoyable hot read!

This is a cute story. Paige and Seren had amazing chemistry from the start. It was quite steamy between the handsome butch and the gorgeous femme who I might add is pregnant. Well done. I recommend 4.5 stars

Animals, old biddies, family, supportive friends and a pregnancy. My kind of story. Seren Winters, 38 years of age has always wanted to be a mother. She knew time was not on her side so, she forged ahead and comes to the story 4 months pregnant. As a massage therapist, she has some flexibility with her work hours and she believes since her mother raised her as a single parent, she could do it too. Paige Dannenberg, veterinarian, takes over her mother's water aerobics classes after she fell and injured her tailbone.

This meet cute was funny with definite chemistry from the start. I really liked Taylor's personality and she interacts with Seren, her mother and the biddies. Seren grows on me as the story unfolds. She did a lot of processing and self-reflection. The reference to cows real and used as decoration was pretty cool. The biddies definitely entertained and added to the story.

Seren meets Paige at her local gym while taking water aerobics class. Seren is pregnant and looking for ways to keep her morning sickness at bay and to keep in shape during her pregnancy. Paige is a temporary teacher for the class but is a full time veterinarian. Seren isn't at a point in her life where she can date and hopes the two of them may be able to have a casual fling before she has her baby but they both end up with more than casual feelings.
This one was a great blend of sweet and spicy. The two MCs have great chemistry and they were very cute together. The ladies in the water aerobics class are hilarious and I love that they end up being a fun group of aunts for Seren and Paige. I have read a couple of books by Jaime Clevenger now and I really enjoy the animals always included in the plots. This one has a lot of cows and cats and I am wishing I had a ranch of my own now so I could have my very own baby calf. There are a couple of side characters that I really liked but who seem to disappear after the middle of the book. Seren mentions a brief conversation with them but Leslie and Bea don't have any more scenes and I missed them. This was a cute, feel good book that I'd recommend for a lazy afternoon spent reading on the couch.

I was very excited when I saw Jaime Clevenger had a new book out. Clevenger is fast becoming one of my favourite authors for creating authentic chemistry with sizzling build up, and this book did not disappoint. The chemistry between the two leads was palpable from the start, and I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. The writing was engaging as ever, and the old biddies trying to get involved was funny. The big conflict was legitimately big enough to warrant a certain level of angst, but it wasn't too overwhelming. The abundance of cats was also a bonus. On the flipside, the ending felt a little rushed and in some of the difficult conversations around the big conflict, I felt like the communication between the two leads wasn't very clear - reading the dialogue I would think they had agreed to do X and then they would say they were going to do Y or Z. It might be that I missed something between the lines. Either way, I enjoyed this book and would gladly recommend it. I look forward to the author's next work.

I have a soft spot for pregnant women finding someone to share their motherhood adventure with so this was straight up my ally. The vet aspect? Loved it. The baby cow birth? Hilarious. There was some dialogue in here that will make you laugh out loud and I know nothing about large animal vets or procedures but even those moments were enjoyable to read. These leading ladies together are an interesting pair. They have to shovel through the sheep poop to get to solid footing but the journey there is a great read:)

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀.

I was originally relectant to pick this book up but decided to give it a try after seeing the earlier reviews.

This story is about a pregnant Seren taking up a water aerobics class and getting into a relationship with the covering instructor. The truth is, this storyline isn't something I typically go for. I think getting into a new relationship while being pregnant is tricky because having a new baby changes couple dynamics and co-parenting with someone you barely know isn't ideal. And this is how Seren also feels about the situation, hence there is some reluctance to deepen her relationship with Paige. But it helps me to like the story better knowing that Seren conceived in a clinic on her own and there isn't a complication with an ex. And as a bonus, Paige is extremely sweet and rather easy to get to know.

This book is a bit more well-written and well-paced than some of the other Jaime Clevenger books I've read. The story also has some light undertones, funny scenes and banter among characters and I appreciate the effort, although there's a tendancy for some jokes to be repeated again and again far after the punchline has been delivered.
