This installment in the Molly Murphy series begins with her husband, Daniel, announcing that he’s running for sheriff on the Tammany ticket. As part of his campaign, he and his family move into a luxurious home on 5th Avenue. But all is not what it seems as there is a murder which pulls Molly into the dangerous world of politics,

A fabulous read!

A great addition to this series. Molly's police husband Daniel has been asked to run for sheriff on the Tammeny Hall ticket - a decision which she cannot understand. You won't want to miss this interesting look at politics and corruption.

I love all of Rhys Bowen's books and this one didn't disappoint. The investigations, suspense and high jinx are always my favorite parts. I definitely recommend this newest book, All that is hidden!

Beautiful, red-headed Molly Murphy Sullivan is happily married to the New York City police chief in 1907. She has a beautiful child, fun interesting neighbors and friends, an adoring spouse, and a home in Greenwich Village. What more could she want? How about a fully furnished mansion, complete with servants? When her husband runs for an elected position she doesn't know what to think. Siding with a tainted Tammany Hall candidate goes against everything she and her husband believe.

A well plotted mystery, plenty of social interaction and interesting characters so it rounded out to a very satisfying read. It is easily read as a standalone and indeed I did not realise initially that it was part of a series. Some prior events are alluded to, but not knowing them did not hinder enjoyment of the book. I received an advance copy for free and am voluntarily leaving this review.

Clare Broyles and Rhys Bowen once again presented a compelling mystery packed with believable and unforgettable characters. Descriptions and historical details are so expertly woven into the story, I felt as if I was watching it unfold rather than reading. I have read all of the Molly Murphy books, loving each one more than the last. This one was no exception.

Molly Murphy isn’t your typical 1900’s wife and mother. She is the forerunner to the woman detective. When her husband police captain Daniel Murphy takes a position running for sheriff on a political ticket known to be corrupt, she questions his motive. She will do what it takes to find out why he is running. When the leaf name on the ticket is found murdered she begins to figure it all out. Now she just has to figure out who murdered Mr. McCormack so her and her husband can go back to their cozy life. She’s just the person to do it too! You’ll fall in love with this spitfire detective and find it hard to put this book down!!

I love, love love books by Rhys Bowen and Clare Broyles and this was no exception. It is a historical fiction murder suspense. This book takes place during the William Randolph Hearst days at the times it was about the politics that went on. So good from the very beginning it was a page turner for what happens next. Fell asleep late one night and started where I left off the next day. I absolutely recommend this book. I look forward to another great read.thanks to #NetGalley, Rhys Bowen and Clare Broyles #AllThatIsHidden. For the opportunity to review early.

The newest Molly Murphy book is wonderful! I absolutely love the new directions Molly and her family are headed in. This book is good enough to stand alone and a great edition to the series! Couldn't put the book done once I started it.

I had high hopes for All That Is Hidden, and am impressed with Rhys Bowen’s facility with language rhythms, but found the plot and character development way too predictable.

You could read this as a stand alone as the authors do a good job of character development without boring long time followers. Book 19 by my count, and I've been reading about Molly since 2001 with great excitement.

Now set in 1907, Molly is ahead of her time with her ideas on being female and independent. Daniel surprises Molly with a brownstone on Fifth Ave. Not only will they leave her little house, but Daniel is running for Sheriff of NY County on the Tammany ticket with Big Bill McKenzie running for Mayor. What has brought on such drastic changes? How will Molly adjust to being a politician's wife? A missing reporter and unsafe conditions on the docks have Molly asking questions. Murder behind a locked door? How intriguing!

There were enough sub plots to keep this cozy moving quickly. Thank you Clare for continuing this series with your Mom Rhys. They work well together and we Molly-fans are grateful.

I'm so happy that Rhys and Claire are working on the Molly Murphy series together. This book really helped readers gain a sense of what Tammany Hall was all about and how it sought to ensure that people were indebted to those in charge. Molly's issues with being a professional woman continue and in the middle of the educational crises we are in because of history, the Molly Murphy books help so much. Keep up the great work!

Such likable characters! A bit quirky but fun. This is my first time reading the Molly Murphy Sullivan series and I was very engaged. It was light, interesting and enjoyable. I look forward to reading more of the same. Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press for the opportunity to read this ARC. #Netgalley

Thanks Rhys Bowen for this continuation of Molly and Daniel Sullivan detectives. This historical novel follows the death of a politician that Daniel has been working with. Does the rich politicians family have ownership in the death or the prostitute. The changes in Molly and Daniels family moving to a larger house with servants all leads to a will enjoyed mystery. A wonderful, fun read!

Molly Murphy Sullivan and her policeman husband Daniel return in this latest addition to Bowen's series. The time her is 1907.

This time Daniel decided to run for office on the Tammany Hall ticket. Daniel once despised the corruption and seedy dealings of this party so Molly wonders what in the heck is going on. What has happened to Daniel and what is causing this radical change? Molly promptly endeavors to discover the truth behind this and potentially free her husband from dirty politics.

It was a great mystery book and I really enjoyed trying to solve the plot of it. The time period used in the book worked for the mystery and I enjoyed the people in the story. Molly Murphy Sullivan is a great detective, she was smart and knew she was a good detective. I really felt for her throughout the book, i could feel the betrayal. The ending scene with the murderer was really well done I was on the edge of my seat from what was going to happen.

"I had a strange feeling that something on the table wasn’t right. On the white cloth by the teapot was a small dark brown stain. It was too dark to be tea. It looked like a drop of coffee had spilled on the cloth. But it was definitely tea and not coffee I had poured. A great realization came over me and I spun around."
