Sea Dog is the sixth book in the Mercenary Masters. This was a short novella but being this was a new-to-me author it was perfect. It gave me a taste of the author’s writing in a fast and easy to read novella. I had no trouble reading it as a stand-alone. The story was fast paced, had likable characters, and ended in a happy ever after. It was an entertaining novella and I will certainly be reading more by this author.

Great read. This is Sully and Nina’s story. When Nina is board with the straight life, she decide to do one more forgery job. Sully is tasked by his boss to keep her on the straight and narrow, even if it takes spankings and keeping her in his bed. Read to see how well that goes over.

This was a great story that was a quick read. I have never read a book by this author before, but she has a real talent with creating interesting characters. I liked how the main characters were always denying their feels until they are forced to face their true feelings.

Sea Dog by Delta James.
A Mercenary Masters Romance.
She broke their agreement, and he will make sure she pays the price. Nina Olettta, one of the world’s foremost information brokers and forger had walked on the wrong side of the law for years. Sully had long thought the dark-haired beauty was a prize worth winning. When she breaks the agreement the Cerberus Group negotiated that would have kept her out of prison and alive, Sully uses a cruise to protect her. Can he keep her alive while making sure she regrets breaking her word and teaching her that she belongs to him?

Bloody hell. I really don't know what to say. The author cured my reading slump. The plot was haunting and quiet vivid. The premise was a unique one and the twists and turns were intense. I couldn't figure out a thing. What a wonderful book! Highly recommended.
