Reviewing old arcs, have tried to read but couldn't get into. Won't be trying again so no formal review will be posted on social media.

In November 2012, I was given the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance Best Tour Review for the first Ladies of Distinction novel and prequel from Jen Turano in A Change of Fortune and Gentlemen of Her Dreams. You might want to see that review, back here. I have been long awaiting to read Arabella's story with her own P.I. ;) This particular book had the issue of being published at the same time as I had a small tragedy in my own life and thus I was delayed in being able to read the story. However, once I finally delved in I was pleased and amusing as always with the wit and humor of Jen Turano's pen.

In early-July I got my digital fingers on a copy of Jen's latest In Good Company and dived right in and loved it from the first page. After reading that one, I recalled this one from my queue and went back to it and I was delighted to do so. Arabella is a great character as is Theodore, they amuse me so much! As do all the other characters alongside. Jen is a great author that keeps my imagination flowing and my laughter rumbling. This on is more of a murder-mystery type than the others, but it still entertained and intrigued me throughout. I will absolutely keep reaching for Jen's other books.
