This sounded like a really interesting concept, almost like Dreamgirls, but I was surprised by the mother being the perspective of the narrative, and the pacing felt a bit too slow for my liking.

Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for the ARC! I really liked this book, I loved the exploration of female friendship. I think the book was well written and would make a really good summer/beach read.

I really enjoyed this book. The title reminds me of the songs from the four tops and the Supremes. Feel good happy music from my childhood.it was an inspiring story where all the sisters stroked out on their own and follow their own dreams. A great book for a book club.

This was a really fantastic read. I really enjoyed the writing in this book, and it made me curious to Sexton's other books. Very good.

Any books that have music as a theme are always high on my list and this was a utterly brilliant read. Not only focusing on stunning music but also the bonds of sisterhood, this is the perfect summer read!

very excited for this title! I love stories about entertaining and music and I know our readers will love this one as well. It was so inspiring to see the sisters strike out on their own to follow their dreams instead of being pushed into what their mother wants. I could see this being a great book club pick or even turned into a movie. I enjoyed the characters, dialogue, and storyline. Will be sharing more soon.
