The story began with a lot of promise, I became fully invested with the main characters nearly right away, but about a third way into the book I started getting annoyed with them. Tessa had a secret she's been keeping for years, and it's made to be this big deal, but once it's revealed I personally didn't think it was that important. I liked Seth but I thought at times, for someone who protects people for a living, he sometimes would do the silliest things. Overall, I liked the story but it's not one I'd be quick to recommend.
