Boy, do I love short and sweet stories like this one. Full-grown adults getting a second chance at a love lost…

Andie is a perfect example of a woman with “what if” written all over her face. What I mean by that is, her second chance is security and sweet…but the reality of it is, she missed out on the dangerous passion of a long ago one night stand, and now has come face to face with that very person she thought she’d never see again.

The downside to this book? It was entirely too short, and when it says you’re only 76% in and the story is over…so sad. Then to make it worse, there’s teasers to not just one but two more books behind it…had I known it would only take an hour to read, I would’ve read it in 2013. *shrugs* Oh well, what can you do?

I still enjoyed this little morsel of sweet second-chance romance. I do hope there’s more of Jesse and Andie somewhere…off to find it, wish me luck!

I really enjoyed this novella. I loved that it was about a woman in her forties.

Andies boyfriend proposes but she needs time so he gives her twenty four hours. Taking herself on a road trip to think she finds herself with an old flame.

I found this to be a well written easy read that I’d certainly recommend.
