I was hoping this book would sweep me away I’m a sucker for a sports romance however time around sadly I was not convinced. It has some likeable factor - easy to read, predictable and with some heat but all in all I wasn’t sold.

This book was shooooooooort so in that case there’s minimal time for real character or relationship development. There’s chemistry there for sure and I liked the banter it was hard to form a connection. The secret of him being a jock I didn’t think was a huge deal. I mean it’s not like he was hiding a baby or herpes lol. Honestly I kinda just love that he blogs and came off a bit nerdy to me especially as he goes on about the heroine. It’s cute different and fun for a short read. Ending was really cute.

Jake and Sophie's banner was adorable and hilarious. This was a very short and sweet novella and I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters. Thank you for the opportunity to read your book.

What a fun, lighthearted read! I love sports romance and couldn't wait to dive into this one. This was a super quick read  but it was well written and loveable. I really enjoyed Jake. He was sweet and fun. If you're looking for hot scenes, this is not the book for you. It was very fade to black but sometimes it's refreshing to read a story like that. Overall, a great read.
