Both are strong, complex characters trying to live their lives with independence and are surprised at how love does not diminish, but adds to an independent life. Of course, Isobel, Iain, Brigid, and Skorpios/Cupcake make return appearances, with Isobel teaching our Medieval Scottish friends all about American Christmas traditions.
I loved this book, maybe even more than FORGED IN DREAMS AND MAGICK, the first in the series. I am looking forward to the books yet to come in this series. Kat Bastion has become a “must read it” author for me!
