3.5 - 4 Stars!

This one was just what the doctor ordered. A feisty (cop) heroine and big shot Tristan Cross. He hires her to do some investigative work for his firm. She also has secrets of her own that she is running from. Soon, he is helping her just as much as she is helping him.

There's an instant attraction between these two characters and before long it combusts. This was a hot and sexy read and I devoured every word. It's on the short side and ends in a cliffy. That and some of the clichés (Old Spice cologne, really?) were my only complaints.

Otherwise, I am looking forward to the next installment! :)

Fast paced, intriguing read. Sort of a "love gone wrong" situation. I am looking forward to reading more.
