This book had some valuable parts but I couldn't get into it - I kept having to force myself to read it. Not for me, I think.
I expected to really enjoy Say Goodbye to Survival Mode, but I found it was mostly platitudes that you have heard multiple times before. Unless you're completely new to time management I would skip this one.
This is a lovely, warm, practical and approachable book about what to do when you are strapped - financially mostly, but also when you are burdened by family responsibilities and/or emotional load.
It aims to set your priorities straight - incorporate some routine to free your hands and soul from the decision fatigue, so to say; start work on your discipline to do the same for you; get control of your finances and make yourself a priority (and some others, but these are key for me).
While the book as general does not offer some miracle method and/or cure, it it quite practical - and works well on your spirit, too! As so very often the reason for the clutter of your duties, burdens and lesses is the clutter in your soul (not applicable to all cases, of course).
I not only gained some useful tips, I have also decided to work more on my spirit of giving. Because I have forgotten about the truth than when one gives freely, one gains so much more.
A great book to unlearn some bad habits we learn along the way.
It was written to follow along to complete the steps. I highly recommend this book for those who feel like they are stuck in 2nd gear. This book helps explore some of the reasons we feel stuck and ways to unstuck ourselves. Hope to see more books by Crystal Paine!
Well written, beautiful and fast read. Great for a quick creative escape and dose of creative motivation!
