Talk about a sugary, sweet romance! This one is jam-packed with all of the adorable, swoon worthy vibes gifted by our talented mmc, Levi Bright.
Single mother, Jillian Keller has settled back at home and is rebuilding her life after escaping a dishonest and lackluster marriage. With her walls up and boundaries in place to protect the wellbeing of her child, Ollie, Jillian is primed to create a stable, wonderful life. Enter the childhood crush that Jillian never got over and an ex that won’t go away. Jillian must decide what her heart wants and what’s best for her child.
This was a quick read, dripping in sweetness! Thank you NetGalley, St. Martin's Publishing, and Sophie Sullivan for the arc of this book! I really enjoyed the Hallmark vibes!

Ollie was very adorable!!

I did feel like I needed more drama but overall this was cute second chance romance.

This was a sweet, second chance small town, dual POV love story between Jillian, a divorced single mother and her brother's best friend, Levi, who's recently returned home after being away for years working as a chef in the city. The second book in the Rock Bottom love series, this could be read as a standalone but has cameos from past characters. It was good on audio and had the perfect balance of family drama, sweet moments, humor and fade to black romance. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!

Tropes:
⛴️ Second chance romance
🏕️ Friends to lovers
⛴️ Small town
🏕️ Dual POV
⛴️ Single mom
🏕️ Brother’s friend
⛴️ He falls first

This is the second story in the Rock Bottom Series. It follows Jillian and Levi. Levi was friends with Jillian’s brothers in high school. She had a mild crush on him and he had a mild crush on her as well, but neither were aware. After high school, Levi moved away to chase his dreams of becoming a big time chef. Fast forward 15 years and Levi returns to Smile, Michigan where Jilly (Jillian) still lives with her daughter. They run into each other one day and the feelings that they had for each other in high school instantaneously ignites. Will they survive Jilly’s caution with moving to fast?

First off, I enjoyed Jilly and Levi’s story more than Presley and Beckett’s. There was more humor and like-ability of the characters. I respect Jilly wanting to take things slow with Levi especially as a single mom and not wanting to get her daughter attached. I also liked how devoted Levi was to Jilly and making it work. He was patient, present, and caring. He let her know the entire story that he wasn’t going anywhere.

However, there were a few things that lacked for me. The lack of communication between the characters was an issue. I struggle with that in books because, to me, it is unnecessary. There was also a lot of the story that I just skimmed through because it was uneventful and didn’t provide any support to the overall storyline. The characters did not have much development throughout the story either.

Overall, if you are looking for an easy closed-door romance that would be a good palate cleanser between heavy books, this is the one.

I suppose this book could be read as a standalone, but I don’t recommend it. It’s so much better already knowing about the Keller family and the sweet, quirky town that surrounds them. I adored Jillian and Ollie. I had completely fallen in love with them in the first book, and absolutely adored seeing them find the right Forever this time. This story is a bit of a second chance romance, but not in the classic sense of the theme. This was a second chance with the one you never got a chance with the first time around. Levi was pure hero candy. He wasn’t perfect, but he was the missing piece in Jillian and Ollie’s family. I loved watching Levi and Jilly rediscover their feelings from so long ago, and also seeing them grow and reconcile with their pasts. Now that another Keller sibling has fallen, I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for the last one.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book through NetGalley.

Get Lost With You by Sophie Sullivan is the second book in the Rock Bottom Love series. It was great to return to the small town of Smile and the Get Lost Lodge and reconnect with the characters we’ve previously met.

Jillian and Levi are the stars of this second-chance romance. Will the second time around be the charm?

Jillian is a single mother to her daughter, Ollie. Levi is a chef who left at seventeen to attend culinary school in New Hampshire. From there, he worked in restaurants in Vermont, but now he’s decided it’s time to return home to Smile.

Levi and Jill reconnect, and he gets along well with her daughter Ollie, as a friend and father figure. The power of family and friends is a strong theme, and I love how they rely on each other. They also have meaningful conversations and can get mad but reunite and reconcile. There are wonderful descriptions of the lodge, the food, the grounds, and the town.

The story has a good flow, and all the stories and characters are interconnected wonderfully. When Jillian’s ex contacts her out of the blue, Jill stays strong, even if her world gets rocked in more ways than one. But with her friends and family by her side, she manages to figure out what she wants out of her life, and it’s not him and what he offers!

I love the way Jillian and Levi are able to talk and manage to get back on the same page. There’s romance, love, and a strength to the characters. There are layers to the story and characters, and the ending was sweeter than I expected. There’s a happily ever after nicely portrayed in the epilogue.

I look forward to reading more books in the series because Jillian’s older brother, Grayson, needs his story told. Ms. Sullivan is an author whose books I enjoy, and I look forward to reading more of them—not only those in this series.

Get Lost With You is a sweet contemporary romance with friends, family, romance, love, and a powerful work ethic shared by all.

I rated the book 4.5 stars but rounded to 5 stars here and on other sites.

I love this authors books, and although this story didn't read as quickly as her books usually do, I still really enjoyed it. Levi and Jilly had great chemistry, and Ollie was adorable. I thought there would be more coming with Jilly's ex, but can't say I'm disappointed. Loved the Get Lost Lodge, definitely a place I'd love to stay at. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

such a sweet sweet read! the setting absolutely pulled me in, there is something so magical about northern michigan. i absolutely adored the small town outdoorsy feel!! jilly and levi had such a sweet love story i am such a sucker for friends to lovers! having loved each other since childhood and now reconnecting fifteen years later this story focused a lot on being willing to let love in.

i enjoyed that this book was an easy love story there were outside complications but the feelings were never doubted. as much as i love a tension filled story it is always so nice to dive into a true heartfelt romance🥹 also really loved the role everyone else played in this story and that each character felt distinct and important!

alsoooo love a man who knows exactly what he wants and will wait as long as he needs to and levi is that man!!!! his patience and understanding was top tier loverboy energy that i was very much here for!!!

thank you deeply to st. martins press and sophie sullivan for this advanced reader copy, would def recommend checking this out when it releases tomorrow!!

This book started out really strong for me. Jilly and Levi acted so adult compared to many romance characters. They talked openly to each other about their feelings and their worries. They had wonderful chemistry and their lingering childhood crushes were so endearing. I loved the family dynamic between Jilly and her brothers, and the relationship Levi develops with Jilly's daughter is so sweet.

Where I started to struggle was when the characters reverted to keeping secrets and not communicating. It felt out of character and simply used to create conflict.

Overall, it was a sweet story. I especially loved Levi's character, and the quirky cast of characters that accompanied the small town were a ton of fun. I look forward to the rest of the series.

Get Lost with You is the sequel to Sophie Sullivan’s Love, Naturally. It is a small-town second-chance romantic comedy. The story is a closed-door romance, with fade-to-black romantic scenes.

29-year-old Jillian Keller was introduced in Love, Naturally as Beckett’s sister. She is an accountant/bookkeeper at her brother’s business, Get Lost Lodge. She is divorced with a nine-year-old daughter, Ollie, and they live with her parents in her hometown of Smile, Michigan. Jillian is still close with her two childhood best friends, Lainey, and Kylie, but they have added Beckett’s girlfriend, Presley, to their circle. She dreams of expanding the business to include hosting special events.

When Jillian runs into her childhood crush at her ten-year high school reunion, she’s taken aback. Levi Bright was two years older than her and her brother’s best friend. He left Smile at age 17 to attend culinary school in New Hampshire. Then he settled in Vermont and built his career. With his father having some health issues, Levi has decided it’s time to return home and think about realizing his dream of operating an upscale food truck.

Get Lost with You is a sweet romance that feels like a Hallmark movie with its vivid descriptions of a tourist island. The drama that occurs with family businesses is realistic and adds a little conflict to this romantic comedy. It’s nice to re-visit the characters from Love, Naturally, and now the author has to write Grayson‘s story!

I received an advance review copy (ARC) from NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really enjoyed this read!

Jilly is an independent, no nonsense single mom who has worked her ass off to build a safe life for her and her daughter, Ollie. But that’s exactly what her life is: safe. She can feel pieces missing of her identity beyond being a nurturing parent and not wanting to ask for help but she tries to push those feelings down.

That is until her first love and childhood crush, Levi, returns to town. After building all the skills in a career as a renowned chef, Levi is ready for a change. He wants the comfort and enrichment of being home near friends, family, and community. A bonus is seeing the Girl he’s pined for has also returned to their small town.

This read was so sweet and low angst. I really enjoyed book one set in Smile and this book was a lovely addition. Sophie Sullivan did an excellent job building a small town that is kooky, caring, and wildly endearing.

Such a sweet story! I enjoyed reading Jilly's and Levi's second chance at love. I really enjoyed the small town atmosphere, close community, united family and outdoor vibes. I loved all the characters and the story went smoothly. My only critique, which is a bit silly, is that I couldn't get over the names. I thought it was a bit odd that an adult would go by Jilly. Other than that I enjoyed reading this happily ever after.

I’m not a fan of instalove and that’s what this felt like-like they just picked up where they left off as teens, crazy about each other. But it grew on me! And now I just want s’mores. Hehe

Perfect for fans of…
-sort of second chance (teenage crush, now adults)
-single mom
-cinnamon role MMC

This book is the second book in a series, but you could read it as a stand alone.

I am a sucker for a second chance romance. Add in a strong sense of place with a small town and I am in.

I enjoyed the alternative points of view between the main characters. It was nice to revisit the main characters from the first book as well.

Thanks to @netgalley and @stmartinspress for the advanced reader copy.

Get Lost with You was a very charming second chance, small town romance. In the previous book in the series, we were introduced to all of our main characters in the small town of Smile. In book 2, Jilly gets her chance at a happily ever after with her long lost love/childhood friend. This book was super hallmark vibes which I was in the mood for. I was all in for Levi and Jilly and this was a perfect escape for me!

Single mom Jillian loves her life; she works at her brother's resort, lives with her parents, and raises the best nine-year-old on the planet! Enter Levi, her first love, well, unrequited love, that is. But things aren't so unrequited anymore! Levi is hot, sexy, and home for good, and he can't help but notice that Jilly is all grown up.

Book two in the Rock Bottom Love series is funny, sexy, and fun. Levi was the perfect book boyfriend who makes you swoon and wonder why your man doesn't treat you like he treats Jilly. Jillian is the ideal heroine, a strong, independent woman still trying to heal from past hurts. You can't help but root for their love and hope they get over their misunderstandings and end happily ever after.

This book was a delightful read! It was a charming, heartwarming, and entertaining second chance romance that made me fall in love with the small town and its quirky characters. It was like they were meant to be together as their paths cross once again.

This is Levi Bright and Jillian Keller’s journey to a HEA and it kept me smiling until the end.

I absolutely adored these characters and their families, but the dynamic between Jilly, her daughter Ollie, and Levi was simply spot-on. Oh, and I absolutely adore childhood crushes and brother’s best friend tropes! They’re just so swoon-worthy! This is my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last! The ending was fantastic!

Successful chef Levi Bright has lived his culinary dreams and is now ready to return to his hometown of Smile, Michigan and reconnect with the family and friends he left behind. Jillian Keller is one of those people. Little sister of his best friend, Jillian was always a bit off limits. Now, Levi looks forward to getting to know her as adults. Jillian finally has her life back on track. After a devastating divorce, Jillian returned to Smile with her young daughter and has carved out a place for herself. She now helps her family run the Get Lost Lodge and does some accounting on the side. When her childhood crush returns to town, it throws Jilly for a loop. She lost trust in herself after her marriage imploded and is scared of getting hurt again. Levi is determined to prove himself and his commitment to Jilly and his community. Will Jilly be able to let go of her fears or will Levi have to make a life in Smile without the woman and child he’s come to love?

Sophie Sullivan’s Get Lost with You is a fun return to Smile and the Get Lost Lodge! It’s as sweet, gooey, and satisfying as a freshly toasted s’more. Smile is the small town everyone wants to live in. It’s full of colorful, quirky people you wish were your friends. Sullivan draws you into this special place with its good natured shenanigans and lively happenings. You want to be right there having a waffle at Pete’s, popping into the General Store for a peek at the chalkboard, strolling Tourist Lane, or indulging in a late night treat at Petal’s Pie Palace. Levi is a kind, centered man ready to commit to making a life in his hometown. He’s lived his dreams and wants his forever. Jilly is devoted to her family and her daughter, Ollie. She’s smart and driven to make Get Lost Lodge a success. They’re grounded and steady and perfect for each other. There are a few bumps and hiccups on the way to happily ever after, but it’s very low angst and gives off great heart healing energy. Get Lost with You is joyful and warm, a perfect addition to the Rock Bottom Love series.

I had a difficult time getting into this book and could not connect with the characters or the story. Didn't care much for the writing and I found myself getting bored with it. Struggled through it until the end. I enjoy reading romance but sadly this one just didn't cut it for me.

This was a cute rom-com that is the second book in the series. So now I need to go back and read the first book! I enjoyed Jillian and Levi’s story, starting back in high school, and the fast-forwarding to the present. I loved Ollie and the rest of Jillian’s family as they were hysterical, but seemed like a fun and loyal family. Watching Levi get to know Ollie and how he treated her was really special because dating someone with a child, when you do not have children, is no joke. I think the author did a great job of playing that out. I hope there is a 3rd book being written because I have an idea of where that might go. 😉
