I love a second chance romance with the brother’s best friend. I thought this was cute and an easy going read. I too would like to get lost and meet up with my hot chef crush from growing up.
Set in the small town of Smile, Michigan, Jillian (29) and Levi (31) reunite after Levi returns home after leaving 14 years ago. This is a low angst contemporary romance told in third person dual POV. The most angst comes from the scars from her ex-husband and his relationship with his dad. This is the second in a series that focuses on Get Lost resort and the family running it. This book is about a year after the first just before their June opening of the season. Jill's brother Beckett was the hero of the first book, and I'm hoping Grayson gets his chance next!
What I loved:
✨ teenage crush to lovers
✨ brother's best friend
✨ single parent heroine (9 year old daughter with ex)
✨ chef hero
✨ supportive small town characters
✨ navigating changing relationships with parents
✨ a pie shop I wish I could visit
✨ epilogue set at Christmas
4 / 5 stars
Closed door / fade to black

I can rely on Sophie Sullivan’s books to put a smile on my face, to able to lose myself in the romance, love, and devotion of her characters. The love story of Jillian and Levi is heartwarming and tender, sometimes a bit sappy, but always sincere. The town of Smile lives up to its name, and its residents are sometimes grumpy but mostly endearing! I hope I get to return to this lovely setting! I received an early copy of this book from the publisher.

Sophie delivered another adorable and heartwarming romance story. We follow our FMC Jillian "Jilly" as she tries to move on from a not so great marriage. Jilly has a 9 year old daughter, Ollie, that she focuses most of her attention on, but really uses an an excuse to not look for her happiness. Enter our MMC Levi, a childhood friend of both of her brothers, and gasp, her childhood crush. He is back in town after leaving at 17 to pursue his culinary dreams. Lucky for them both, the feelings from all those years ago were requited and are still quite strong when they reconnect. This is a wonderful story about starting over and allowing yourself to be happy even when you feel like you've failed. There is also a storyline with Levi and his father about accepting that you have to find a way through familial disagreements and disappointments. Both of them use avoidance as a coping mechanism and have to find a way through that now that Levi is back in town.
The only issue I take with the overall story was the addition of her ex-husband Andrew. I feel like that part of the story didn't need to happen as it really did not add anything to the story except a conflict that was a little overdone. Overall, a very sweet and relatively closed door and clean romance.
Get Lost With You is second chance romance that gives off a cozy hallmark vibe. The combination of relatable characters and their undeniable chemistry, makes this a fun read. This was my first novel by this author, and I can't wait to have the opportunity to read more.
Thank you so much to Sophie & St. Martin's publishing for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book so early.
I LOVED this book!! Sophie Sullivan does such a great job weaving an intriguing story that readers will fall in love with like I did!! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance books!!
"Get Lost with You" was the perfect cozy, summer-romance getaway back in the wholesome town of Smile, Michigan.
I enjoyed being back in the quaint little town of Smile. I liked how Jillian and Levi approached their second chance at love with care and understanding of who they were versus who they are now. I related to the main characters' feelings about how change can be scary and make you hesitant to follow your dreams/go after what you really want for fear of it possibly falling apart.
Like Sullivan's previous novels, "Get Lost with You" is full of heart, longing, and all the feels. I breezed through chapters because I was loving the story so much.
Thanks again to St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the e-ARC to read in exchange for an honest review!

Such a sweet and tender second-chance romance! This series is definitely going to be one of my go-to recommendations for patrons looking for books with cozy, Hallmark-y vibes.

I love Sophie Sullivan romances. They are always so tender and sweet! This one being no exception. It was a lovely low(ish) stakes romance that was sweet as sugar. Also, it was closed door if that’s your jam!
Personally I like to have a bit more conflict/higher stakes in my romance books so this was a bit bland for me. However, I think that the second chance romance trope has slowly worked its way into my heart and this book gave one more gentle shove!
I did find the pacing of this book to be a little funky, just with the instant relationship and some other plot lines, it made it feel a little slow but also too fast?
Ollie is still my favorite character to come out of this standalone series, I mean how could you not love a sassy nine year old?
Overall, it was a sweet book with a touch of conflict, a perfect palate cleanser if you ask me!
Thank you so much to St. Martin’s Press for this advanced copy on NetGalley! 🤍
I didn’t know this was the second book of a series when I picked up this ARC but I liked the troupes: second chance, close family, small town romance. The beginning of the book did intrigue me and it reminded me of watching a Korean drama (especially the accidental falling scene with Jilly and Levi) However, it became a bit underwhelming as the story goes on. The romance was cute and cheesy but I was hoping there was more with the characters instead of having so much info dump of the current state and the past. It made me just want to just finish the book and get it over with since it was so bland. My overall review would be a 2.5 - 3 stars.

An easy, light hearted read! My first Sophie Sullivan book and I’m sure it won’t be my last.
Jillian (Jilly) is a hard working single mom, living in her hometown, Smile, and is finally finding what truly makes her happy (though something is still missing). Levi returns to Smile after leaving 15 years ago to pursue his dream of being a professional chef and is ready to reconnect with the family and friends he left behind, including Jilly.
This story is so, so sweet. Levi is such a good man and his patience with Jilly and understanding of her needs made my heart hurt in the best of ways. There wasn’t a lot of tension or high stakes in this book, but I still had a really good time reading it.

Get Lost with You by Sophie Sullivan
It’s true when they say everything happens to a reason. Sometimes we are brought back to people when the timing is just right.
Jillian is settled back in her hometown with her daughter. Levi returns home to help this family and figure out a future for himself. When these two run into each other, old feelings resurface. But Jillian has been hurt before.. can she allow herself to trust Levi.
Everyone deserves a second chance at love. Will Jillian allow herself to have that? Especially when Levi is her older brother’s best friend!
This story was so cute! Jillian and Levi are so different but they do say opposite attract! I found the character to be very relatable. Jillian reminds me a lot of myself. We both love a good plan and schedule! I read this book in one day. It was a nice quick read! This is the first book I’ve read by Sophie but I’m looking forward to reading more of her books. I really enjoy her writing style. If you are looking for a book with a small town romance or a second chance at love, this is the book for you!

This second chance at love romance reunites Jillian Keller and Levi Bright. He was best friends with her brothers and the object of her teenage crush. He went off to culinary school and has had a career as a successful chef. She married, divorced, and is back at home raising her nine-year-old daughter Ollie having lost all faith in men and all faith in promises.
Jillian and her brothers run a fishing camp/resort. Levi has come home to visit his estranged father after his father's surgery. He also is ready for a change in his life and is planning to buy and run a food truck.
These are two very different people. Levi's impulsive and Jillian likes plan and schedules and order. But the attraction they both felt as teenagers hasn't abated. Levi wants to explore the possibility of a relationship and Jilly wonders how she'll be able to fit one more thing on her already-full plate.
This was a nice romance. I thought it was a bit heavy on the relationship advice everyone in the small island town of Smile, Michigan, was ready to dispense at the drop of a hat. However, seeing how Levi and Jillian built their new relationship was satisfying.
This is such a Hallmark vibe book that had me feeling all of the sweet, cozy feels! Perfect for readers looking for that romance without the major spicy undertones, but still want some passion between the characters.

I am just absolutely obsessed with Sophie Sullivan books! When I think of Sullivan's past works I always think of charming characters, fun banter, heartfelt moments, constant swooning, and endless adorableness. Get Lost with You lives up to every bit of those descriptors!
I fell in love with the Keller family in Love, Naturally and Get Lost with You gives the reading many more reasons to have a soft spot for Jillian. She's such a compelling character, one that the reader can't help but root for and want wonderful things for. She's guarded and a little jaded, which is completely understandable. She's a committed mother, which is so touching to read about. And even with all of that, she feels so organically drawn to our male main character, which is wonderful to journey through.
With how much I adore Jillian, Sullivan needed to write an absolute stand-out male main character to be worthy of her. I'm happy to report that Sullivan did exactly that in creating Levi! He's not perfect, but he's so sincere, sweet, honest, open, and kind hearted. He has his own struggles, but he never lets them get in the way of his treatment of Jillian. He's a breath of fresh air.
The town of Smile, its residents, and the rest of the Keller family add so much to this story. They're the perfect example of how to create a lovely environment to surround your main characters with that will be engaging for the reader, but not overpowering. They compliment this book's romance so wonderfully while also drawing the reader into potential future storylines and romantic pairings.
If you're in the mood for a sweet and charming small town romance please check out Get Lost with You!

Me gustó.

Oh man I am a forever Sophie Sullivan fan, and Get Lost with You is another favorite. I just LOVE the way she writes her characters and their love stories.
Pick it up for:
Small town romance vibes
Featuring a single mom
With a dash of second chance romance
And a heaping tablespoon of brother's best friend.
I loved being back in this world of the Get Lost Lodge. I enjoyed the cast of characters. The love story happened pretty quick, but I did still like it.
When I learned the main character was named Jilly (my family nickname) and her daughter was Ollie (my Gram’s nickname), I HAD to read this book! This is the second in the series, but you don’t have to read the first one first – though I suggest you do!
This is a beautiful story about small town romance and my favorite trope - second chance love. I appreciated the storylines and how both Levi and Jilly moved away only to come back home. Levi has work to do to rebuild relations stressed when he moved away and didn’t join the family business. Jilly is healing from divorce and learning to love again while still protecting her daughter.
The conflict in this one was very believable. Without giving away too much, Jilly becomes stressed out with everything going on in life and love and lashes out. She really might be me in book form! I loved how this played out and how it was resolved. I felt it was compassionate and realistic.
Lastly, Ollie is a doll. I adored her in book one and in this one. She is the cutest!
Again, the main characters fell for each other a little too fast for me, and the scenes with Jilly and Levi felt repetitive in the middle. But, overall, this is another Hallmark movie romance that will be perfect for summer either on the beach or by the fire.

Question – Everyone calls Jilliann “Jilly” but I only allow close family to call me that. Do you have a nickname reserved only for a few people?
Thank you for the ARC! I am not a huge fan of clean romance so I felt like some spots of the second hand romance fell short. I had difficulty getting into this one and wanting to pick it up. Quick read nonetheless
