Fantastically told tale of an unique apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic storyline. I found it never let up in its dread-inducing sadness. Great characters and very interesting take on one of my favorite genres. Highly recommended. |

I tried very hard to read this book, but couldn't. It's my worst nightmare (child death) and my second worst nightmare (pandemic) thrown together. I'm sure it was scary and thrilling, but I couldn't deal with it. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC. |
