A short book that deals with big issues that kids ask their parents about. The authors take a Christian perspective on all the topics of Sin, Marriage, Questions on Scripture, Immorality, Death and Violence, and more. I appreciated at the start they specify that this isn't a book you'll pull out and read the script to your kid when they ask those awkward questions. It does require thinking on the part of the parent; this doesn't replace that. Thompson includes scripture references throughout the book so if there is an application readers will question, they are given the source to look to to clarify it.
I thought the scope of the book was well done and the examples provided help parents to see how/when these questions may arise. It is a helpful book to those who either aren't sure what they might say when these issues come up, or for those who aren't quite sure about the different answers to be given at different ages/stages.
