This is an amazing story that everyone should read. It brings great insight to the plight of immigrants fleeing political prosecution. It also brings to light who really gets hurt with an embargo and the struggle immigrants have to reunite family and friends. In the current political environment it is painful to see families torn apart by the new enforcement of deportation of undocumented immigrants who have not broken any other laws.
