Mary Margaret Delaney is worn down by grief, fear, and isolation. The local pastor Jake Stauros bumps into her on the street and notices the pain of a lost soul. He sees beyond her disheveled appearance and offers support and the light of Christ. The growth and healing of Mary Margaret is evident as she becomes part of the community and the church.
Poignant and filled with examples of Christian outreach, Mercy Like Sunlight reminds the reader of God's compassion, mercy and grace.

Yet again I have been captivated by Liz, the story of Mary is poignant and so much of who we are as a community, how we love people with Jesus's love. A reminder of seeing Jesus in all people around us and calling them to follow Him, to learn of His grace and mercy.
