I must have forgot to post my review here when I read it because I read and reviewed this a long time ago and this is the review that is on goodreads. Sorry about that.

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. Though I will admit the beginning was a little more sexual that I am keen on reading and it was a little weird to start a book off that way. I hope that she continues with the MacGregors as I loved the whole family!

This book was laugh-out-loud funny at times and I loved this magickal clan of large Scotts. Erik is in charge of finding a new home for his families clan and they need a large home with a lot of natural forestry because they get their magic. They are a clan of warlocks and nature helps replenish their magic. He finds the perfect place but there is one little problem. There is one small home on the other side of the mansion that he needs to purchase and it’s owned by Lydia.

Lydia has grown up with everyone calling her grandmother a witch but she never really believed in anything supernatural. She just likes to be along and make her lotions. When the big Scottish man Erik moves in next door she finds herself doing things she would never ever do before. Their first meeting in his garden gets a bit sexual and she embarrass herself and decides it’s best to just stay away from him.

Erik finds out on that first day that Lydia is a natural inthrall, some one who can take his magic from him. If he would have known that he wouldn’t have cast a tiny little spell to make her feel at ease around him, because it doesn’t go quiet as he had planned. When Lydia finds out what he is and what he had done she wants to get him back and with the help of his sister she makes love potion.

That love potion goes very wrong and causes some very funny scenes, but it comes at a bad time because there is something evil lurking around and it wants Lydia.

Love Potions was just an extremely fun book to read and having some sexy Scot’s in it wasn’t to bad either. I loved Erik, but his brothers were also so much fun and oh so sexy. If you are a fan of supernatural/paranormal type romances then you will enjoy this romance. (Even if your not a huge witch fan I still think you would like it!)
