Sam has been interested in Sheridan since his college days with her older brother Mac. Now, that he's on leave after a failed mission, Sam agrees to be an undercover manny for Sheridan's twin sons to keep an eye on her ex, who has been trying to get back together with her.

Mac is an over protective brother and asks Sam to do him this favor, which Sam agrees. But Sheridan doesn't remember sam and want's nothing to do with military types. So Sam has to lie to her her about what he's been doing for a living.

Soon they fall for each other. Sam is the type of man she's always been looking for and Sheridan has been the girl for Sam since he first saw. If only her crazy ex-husband would leave them alone.

There were elements that I liked, and some that were just cheesy. But it was easy to listen to as an audiobook.
