Claire was just turned down for a promotion at work and isn't in a good place. A recent news article has her reminded of her sister who disappeared twenty-two years earlier. Her sister's disappearance left her family fractured and Claire hasn't been back to her home state in fifteen years. A recent call from her dad sees her back home and more curious than ever about her sisters disappearance. Claire goes on an adventure to try to become closer to her sister, but what she finds is far more sinister. Throughout the story I enjoyed the dual perspective of Claire and Marcia--providing necessary exposition for the setting at hand. The characters were relatable and likeable--even the ones you weren't sure if you were supposed to like. The story kept you guessing and I was quite surprised by the ending! Another great book from Stacy Willingham! Anyone who loves a good mystery needs to read this book!

Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham is a haunting, beautifully written thriller that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The characters are richly developed, and the story weaves suspense, emotion, and psychological tension with expert precision. Just when you think you have it figured out, the plot takes another unexpected turn.

I was so graciously given an ARC of this title.
This was my first read by Stacy Willingham, and it DELIVERED! It kept my attention and I felt it was a fast paced book.
Great read!

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review! While this book starts slowly, it picks up pace and becomes super enthralling. The twists and turns just kept coming and the author did a great job keeping the suspense. I enjoyed this book a lot and would recommend it to anyone who likes twisty thrillers

When Claire is without a job and her mom needs her she heads back home. She hasn’t been there for 15yrs and she hasn’t healed from the loss of her sister 22years ago. While she is going through her sister’s old things she finds mystery after mystery. I absolutely loved this captivating suspenseful book!!

Another great read from Stacy Willingham! Such a great thriller with twists that I could have never guessed (and I read a lot of thrillers!). Thank you so much to Minotaur Books and Net Galley for the ARC!!

I am a BIG psychological thriller fan and I always say for it to be really good it needs to have atleast 3-4 twists in it and HOLY COW were there twists in this book! I honestly was not expecting any of them at all! I did truly enjoy this book from beginning to end but with all the twists the ending was obviously the best part. I was not expecting any of the truth about Liam or Claire’s mother…mind blown! This story was edge of your seat good, great twists, interesting stories and really great back stories. I would truly recommend this book to any psychological thriller fan or any thriller fan. 5/5 stars!! "Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martins Press for the arc! All thoughts and reviews are my own."

A solid 4 ⭐️!
I read thrillers for the plot, and while this one started off a bit slow for me, I was immediately drawn in by Willingham’s signature atmospheric and lyrical writing style. The first 25% focused heavily on setting the mood and building the characters, and while it was beautifully written, I found myself eager for the story to really take off.
But once it did—wow. The pace picked up dramatically and didn’t let go. The second half was packed with twists and turns that kept me guessing all the way through. The suspense kept building in ways I didn’t expect, making it hard to put down.
Overall, a solid and satisfying thriller that rewards your patience. Willingham fans will not be disappointed!

Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham was a wild ride! Thriller isn’t usually my go-to genre, but this one completely pulled me in. The twists and turns kept me guessing until the very end—I never saw them coming! There were several moments that had my heart absolutely racing. It was fast-paced, engaging, and super well written. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good thriller.

Forget Me Not grabbed me from the start and never let me go. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!
This story was written in such a way you couldn’t help but get hooked. So much suspense, mystery, unanswered questions. And so many secrets! I loved every minute of this thrilling and twisty ride! Stacy Willingham never disappoints!
Thank you NeyGalley and Minotaur Books for an advanced copy.

I will start by saying that A Flicker in the Dark is one of my favorite thrillers from Stacy Willingham. I will also add that I have never not enjoyed her books. You will always be guaranteed a wild ride. That being said, I did go into this one completely blind & man am I glad I did. Claire Campbell has never forgotten her sister, Natalie, after she disappeared at eighteen. Her case going cold decades earlier. Claire travels back to her hometown & starts to unravel secrets buried long ago. This was a slow burn until it wasn't & I loved it. I was trying to play detective the whole time but of course the ending showed me. The Lowcountry & small town backdrop provided the best atmosphere for this nostalgic mystery. This is now my favorite Willingham book! I highly recommend this one! 5 STARS!

Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham follows journalist Claire Campbell as she returns to her hometown in South Carolina after losing her job. She hasn't been home since her sister Natalie’s disappearance over twenty years ago, an unresolved mystery that continues to haunt her. Claire decides to take a seasonal job at the local vineyard, where her sister last worked, and discovers an old diary written by one of the vineyard's owners. After reading it, Claire suspects her sister may be linked to other murders, leading to unexpected twists throughout the story.
The narrative is filled with twists and suspense as Claire’s journey uncovers long-buried secrets that alter her understanding of the past. The book explores grief and the effects of unresolved mysteries on a family. The book explores grief and the effects of unresolved mysteries on a family. Willingham's books are always filled with great twists and quick chapters. I enjoyed this book, but I preferred Willingham's earlier reads, "A Flicker in the Dark" and "All the Dangerous

This was really good! She got me a few times with the twists and it was a good plot I just wish there was more to the ending.

Loved the book so many twists and turns I did not see coming loved the ending. Thank you for letting me read it

Stacy Willingham does it again! I found myself gasping out loud at various parts of the story, and constantly wondering how it was going to all end. Lots of twists and turns in this one! Highly recommend!

two decades ago, natalie campbell vanished without a trace, leaving a lasting shadow on the younger sister she left behind. now, after years of avoiding the very place that took so much from her, the younger sister finally decides to face the demons of her sister’s past, bringing the truth to light in a terrifying yet satisfying way. stacy willingham just gets it. i’d recommend anything by her. out in august.

I loved "A Flicker In The Dark," so I was excited to read Stacy Willingham’s newest novel. The story follows Claire Campbell, a journalist, who lost her sister to what she thinks is a closed murder case 22 years ago. Everyone believes that Clarie's sister, Natalie, was killed by her secret older boyfriend. And everyone assumes the case is closed.
Claire loses her job in New York, and her mother is injured, so she decides to go home, help her mom, and save money. While at home,
Claire finds undeveloped film, which leads her to Galloway Farm—where her sister worked before her death.
Claire gets a job at the farm and begins to uncover a web of dangerous secrets. The more Claire digs, the more she is convinced that the farm and Natalie's death are related. There are many clever twists and turns in this book.
It was a quick, exciting read, and I consumed it eagerly. This novel delivers on every level. If you are already a fan of Stacy Willingham, you won't be disappointed. If you are new to her, this is a good place to start.

WOW! What a ride that was. “Forget Me Not” is a classic representation of what happens when you think you have everything figured out but you actually don’t - nothing is as it seems and everyone’s integrity should be questioned!

Thank you to St. Martin's Press/Minotaur Books and NetGalley for this digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I have loved Stacy Willingham since her debut, A Flicker in the Dark, so when I got the notification that I was approved for an ARC, my heart was giddy. Frankly, I don’t think anything will ever beat her first book (I just loved it that much), but this one was still quite good. The twists at the end where ones I really didn’t see coming which I loved. This thriller felt a little slow paced to me, and there were times that I got a little sleepy while reading it, but for the most part, it was very enjoyable. The details in this story were also immaculate and I love how they included Claire’s mom at the end.
There’s something about books that involve people trying to solve a crime that just hit me hard and this was no exception. If you are a fan of thrillers that keep you guessing, this is a book for you. I am excited to continue reading books written by this author. Thank you to Net Galley, Stacy Willingham, and St. Martins Press for allowing me to give my honest and unbiased review in exchange for a digital ARC.
