This story follows a predictable, yet entertaining formula. You take an enthralling chemical connection plus some volatile character friction plus a few hidden secrets, and that equals a sweet and enjoyable romance.

Beauty doesn't give you everything in life, as Stella discovers. When she is forced to work together with Chase, the sparks explode, but there is a lot of tension from their shared past. Maybe it's just me, but I love to know the details of everything and felt left out because some specifics were left too vague for my liking. These characters have a lot of flaws to work through and while it was amusing to watch them grow, there were times when I wanted it to move forward a little more quickly.

That aside, I enjoyed the journey through multiple feelings, such as heartache, humor, and warmth. I love the message that love isn't always delivered perfectly, but in little pieces at a time.

Content: mild romance; moderate religion

From the cover, to the characters, to the twists and turns of the plot, this book was just amazing! The first book in the series would be hard to top but this one just might have done it.

Thank you for the opportunity read and review this title! I didn't enjoy it as much as I"d hoped, and rather than post a negative review, I chose to not feature it on my blog. I look forward to seeing what new releases you have in store!
