The authors - Jason, Bobby and Chad, went about explaining how the Great Commission applies in our home. In dealing with the discipleship of the children, we have been entrusted with a whole lot more than many of us realise. Even though the constant switch between the 3 authors can get a tad distracting, it is overall a good training guide for parents who wish to install trust in Jesus and follow Him.

Houser, Harrington and Harrington have a winner.  As a father, one of the most important tasks in my life is raising not only well-rounded and respectful children, but especially faithful children.  "Dedicated" is about raising children who remain committed to their faith, and approaches that parents can take to leave a healthy impression upon their children.  In truth, the book is broader in scope than parenting.  This is about raising up disciples in the church.

Dedicated by Jason Houser, Bobby Harrington, and Chad Harrington is a book all about training your children to follow Christ.  The authors set about to explain how the Great Commission applies in our home to the discipleship of the children we have been entrusted with. Overall, I thought it was a great how to manual useful to parents in many different situations. I received a copy of this book from the publisher.  This is my honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and its message about raising a Christian family.  The book offers many easy suggestions to parents on how they can go about making Christianity a part of normal life.  I look forward to using some of the tools and music featured in the book in raising my children.

Family ministry is a hot button discussion in many churches.  Do you minister to the individual age groups, intergenerational, or to the family as a whole.  Dedicated is a work which deals with family ministry but not from the Church’s perspective but from the viewpoint of the family itself.

Dedicated is a well-researched and wonderfully written work which is broken into eleven different parts dealing with discipleship, relationships, spiritual parenting, Family Worship, Scripture. Discipline, the Church, the Savior, the Kingdom of the God, and how to deal with the challenges today.  There are also two extremely helpful appendices, one of which is a helpful guide and encouragement to single parents wanting to have their children raised in the nurture and admonition of the church.

If you are a parent looking to instill the Christian faith into your family’s daily lives this is the book which will help you in this goal.  It gives deep truths from scripture while giving application for you to practice it in your family’s life.

Very good advice is given in this practical book.  I was rather surprised that considering spending 90 minutes a day with your children was considered a "high bar" to try and reach.  Western culture has lost its way!  No wonder so many kids are lost.  This book is a needed resource for many families.
