Shannon Bliss has been missing for 11 years, no one has seen or heard from her, but now she’s back and on a mission to take down the group of people involved in her kidnapping, and many others across the nation. Matthew Dane is a private investigator, and is no stranger to kidnappings and now Shannon has placed her faith in him to put the last 11 years behind her.

I’ve always been a fan of Dee Henderson books and Taken has continued to captivate me in the story and mystery. One of my favorite things about this book is the character development and barring a solid story play out. I also loved seeing characters from previous books make appearances. I highly recommend Taken.

This was another interesting read by Dee Henderson. While not really suspenseful like I was hoping, it was still a good read. I did not get through it as quickly as I would a suspense story, however. The mystery part of figuring out what happened to Shannon Bliss and who had her kidnapped was enough to keep me interested in the story. Characters from Dee's other recent books were in this one, which was fun as well. Overall a good read with good character development.

Dee Henderson delivers yet again! I’ve been a fan of hers for many years. I thoroughly enjoyed Taken. She knocked this one out of the park.
