Sage Reese is an executive administrative assistant at a finance company. She thinks her boss, Parker Anderson, is gorgeous, but he shows no interest in her other than strictly professional. Her work is her life, and Sage drops whatever she is doing to be at Parker's beck and call. Sage has basically zero personal life to speak of because she makes work and Parker a priority.
One day a cop named Ryker visits Parker in the office and Sage is immediately attracted to his bad boy look. Surprised by his invitation to dinner, Sage accepts to see where things went. Naturally a phone call from Parker interrupted their date and Sage returned to work. There is a history between Ryker and Parker, but neither are willing to share too many details with Sage.
A high stakes account come across Parker's desk, and Sage is stuck in the middle of some very dangerous situations. Will Sage choose to go with confident and forward Ryker, who makes her feel wanted? Or will things with Parker bloom into something other than a work relationship? Read it and find out.
4 out of 5 stars.
I received an advanced copy from the author, publisher and NetGalley; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Power Play is the first book in the Risky Business Series and it's also the first book that I've read by Tiffany Snow. To say I was blown away by this book would be an understatement. This book had me head-over-heels in love with Snow's writing.
First off, the Suspense throughout the story gives you enough traction to keep you interested until the very last page, but even if you aren't a big Suspense reader I promise you, you will still be equally satisfied by the Romance throughout this story. Especially when it comes to the chemistry between the main character and the two love interests. Yes, there is a love triangle. And yes, it's glorious.
Parker Andersen may seem all business in the beginning of the book, but he is the epitome of being an alpha male and coincidentally so is Detective Dean Ryker, a.k.a Parker's childhood best friend.
I absolutely loved the obstacles that Sage has to overcome as well as the obstacles between Parker and Dean rekindling their friendship. Ms. Snow pits these two equally handsome, smart men against each other and I can't help but feel incredibly jealous of our main character Sage Reese. The chemistry is off the charts.
I highly recommend picking up this series. It has become one of my favorite!
