I've been stewing on this one for a few days now. While I enjoyed this book, sadly I did not love it which is disappointing because I was really looking forward to this one. I think what disappointed me most was I felt like the romance was overshadowed by the suspense plot. Also, I wanted there to be more banter between Nora and Freddy. Don't get me wrong, this was a great book and Nora and Freddy were fabulous and I really liked them I just wanted more.

This is a good start to a historical romance series. I really enjoyed the two main characters, Lenora and Frederick. It was fun to watch their relationship develop. The storyline kept my interest, and I'm looking forward to the next book.
