Oh how I love Sarah Morgan's books and this book was just another in a long line of her wonderful stories. The characters in this book were so heartwarming. This book has family relationships and friendship relationships that most people would envy. It is an awesome story that once you start you cannot stop. The narrator of this audiobook did a great job and it was an easy story to listen to. Pick a copy up, you will not be disappointed.

Milly and Nicole are lifelong friends who are now in need of a repair in their friendship. Not so long ago, Nicole wasn't there for Milly when she really needed her and there is a lot of hurt involved. Now that Nicole needs Milly, Milly still is available and that begins their journey back to each other's lives. Lovely story of friendship and family, forgiveness and love. Nana Peg, Milly's mom Connie and her young daughter Zoe are delightful and wonderful characters in this story as well. There is romance but it's not really in the forefront...just happy endings for all!
I read/listened to the audio and thought Henrietta Meire did a wonderful job narrating!
Many thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. All opinions are my own.

Other People's Summers by Sarah Morgan tells the story of lifelong friends Milly Beckett and Nicole Raven, whose relationship has become strained over the years. Nicole, now a famous actress, seeks refuge with Milly at her lakeside resort after a scandal. The novel delves into themes of friendship, forgiveness, and second chances as the two women navigate their past and present.
Morgan crafts a heartwarming and hopeful narrative set against the backdrop of the English Lake District. The book explores the complexities of female friendship, the challenges of balancing personal and professional life, and the impact of past choices on present relationships.
The narrator captures the nuances of the characters' emotions and bring the scenic location to life, enhancing the listening experience. The story's blend of poignant moments and witty interactions kept me engaged!

I love a multigenerational story with strong resilient women leads and that is exactly what you will find in Other People’s Summers. A beautiful, emotional story of the bonds between mothers & daughters, lifelong friendships, found family, self-worth, personal growth, second chances, and doing the things in life that make you happy.
Sarah Morgan’s books are always heartwarming, uplifting, and have powerful messages. She has the most realistic and relatable characters, plots, and themes that will easily resonate with many readers. She writes excellent side characters as well, who add depth and laughter to the story, I loved Nana Peg and all her sassy wisdom. I enjoyed the premise of this story and loved that it was set at the family owned lake resort which gave all the summertime vibes.
I was fortunate to have both an ARC and ALC to read in tandem. I really enjoyed listening to the narrator, this was my first story narrated by Henrietta Meire. She did a fabulous job with pacing and tone which kept my attention and brought the story to life.
I will definitely be adding a physical copy of Other People’s Summers to my Sarah Morgan collection. Like many of her other books, the cover art draws you in and the story inside touches your heart.
Thank you @htpbooks, @htp_hive, @readmirabooks, @htpbooks_audio, @sarahmorganwrites, and @netgalley for the #gifted ARC & ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc and alc.
I was super excited to read this book as I have enjoyed other. books by Sarah Morgan. With that being said, this book was not my favorite of hers. It wasn't bad, it just was ok in my opinion. I did enjoy the audiobook narrator though.
2.5 stars rounded up.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. This is a 3.5 star read for me, but I love Sarah Morgan so much I round it up to 4 stars, A well-written story, just not my favorite rad of hers.

After a bit of a slow start I enjoyed this audiobook. It’s a cozy, heartwarming tale of lifelong friendship, family and misunderstandings. The setting, the Lake District in the English countryside, sounds beautiful and makes me want to visit Milly’s inn.
The narrator was quite good and her narration added to the story.
I recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoys a sweet, cozy story about friendship and a lovely British accent.

𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖 ~ 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄’𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐒 ~ by Sarah Morgan ~ Thanks to Canary Street Press, Harlequin Audio and Netgalley for an ALC of this book that will be released soon on May 6th. Sarah Morgan is a hit or miss author for me and that has largely to do with the fact that, personally, I often find Women’s fiction or Chick-Lit rather dull and usually the cause of many an eye-roll. However, I do understand the escapism and hope it offers many readers so I respect it. Also, there have been several that I have found relatable over the years by a variety of authors including Ms. Morgan. Further, Sarah Morgan’s books almost always have the most attractive covers and sometimes that's what gets me (as it did here), plus I thought it might be a summery read, but it really isn’t about that more than a seasonal setting. This book fits firmly in that aforementioned category and will fit for that niche audience. The 3rd person omniscient narration and the consistent internal monologues to impart characterization grate on my me this genre at times. However, there were moments in which the banter was cute and the setting of an English lakeside resort was lovely. That being the case, the book includes everything else one might expect: a couple female protagonists, intense life situations, various relationships to manage, emotional personal journeys, the myriad of male influences both dastardly and romantic, a young person's view thrown in, and plenty of inner monologues and plenty of character growth. This addresses themes of childhood trauma, family, friendship, marriage, adultery, change, career, healing and of course love with a HAE for all. I think readers of these types of books will enjoy the pacing and escapism of this story.
⭐⭐⭐… not my genre stars… I think fans of Women’s fiction will rate this higher.
Happy Cute Boathouse Setting Reading All! 📚♥️⛵

I really enjoyed this story, the writing and the setting. I didn’t really enjoy how jealous the two main characters were of each other but I know that was part of the story. I also don’t like when one narrator does all POVs therefore I didn’t really enjoy the audiobook. I think this would be better to physically read.

For some reason, I struggled with the first few chapters of this book. I think the introduction of many characters in an audiobook makes it a little more difficult to follow. Once I got a feel for the characters, I found this book quite enjoyable. The storyline and characters were relatable, the narrator did a wonderful job, and this audiobook kept my attention to the very end.
