Absolutely adored this book!
From the narration to the detail, to character development, I found this book such a delight to read. I craved going to the next chapter every time I had to pause reading. Sarah Morgan does such a great job of bringing the reader into the character's lives. I appreciate the growth we see between the two main characters, exploring their friendship and how they both have gotten in their own way.
Would highly recommend Other People's Summers as your next read!

As always, I enjoyed Sarah Morgan's story of friendships and overcoming the past. I loved the characters and felt that their flaws made them feel as if they were real people.

This one was not for me. I was more interested in the setting than the characters, and the plot was a little lacking for me. Maybe I was just in the .mood for more action. Audio narration was distracting.

Sarah never disappoints me. Such a wonderful story of friends and and what it takes to keep the bond strong. A very emotional story of two women that struggle with secrets and pain in their life. Very well done. Just loved it!

I enjoyed this book about second chance friendship, growth, and self reflection. The setting was relaxing, a place I would want to spend the summer at. The supporting characters were all interesting, engaging, and extremely likable, maybe even more than the main characters. The book spans multiple generations of women. An easy summer read full of warmth and new beginnings.

Other People’s Summers is a heartwarming, emotional story about friendship, forgiveness, and second chances, set against the stunning backdrop of the Lake District.
Milly and Nicole were once inseparable, but fame and betrayal drove them apart. Now, years later, Nicole—embroiled in scandal—turns to Milly for refuge. Milly, recovering from a painful divorce and raising her daughter solo, hasn’t forgotten the hurt Nicole caused. Yet she agrees to help, setting the stage for a moving journey of reconciliation and self-discovery.
The novel shines in its portrayal of lifelong friendships—messy, fragile, but often enduring. The emotional tension between the two women adds depth, making their gradual reconnection all the more powerful. The Lake District setting adds a calming, atmospheric touch, while Milly’s close-knit community, including her feisty grandmother and kind neighbor Brendan, brings humor and heart.
This is more than a story of rekindled friendship—it’s about healing, resilience, and finding your way back to yourself. Some twists are expected, but the emotional payoff is worth it. Other People’s Summers is a touching, feel-good read with standout narration—perfect for fans of relationship-driven fiction.

This book is deep seeded in family and friendship and I loved it! The author did an extraordinary job with building these characters and story line. Narration was good as well. 5 stars
Many thanks to Net Galley and Harlequin Audio for an audio ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In this book, a famous actress retreats to an English lakeside resort, reconnecting with a friend that she had a falling out with. With the beautiful Lake District setting, the two women gradually revive their friendship. The author blends together friendship, family, and romance to create a solid story. The relatable characters work through problems with marriage, parenting, and past hurts. I especially enjoyed the setting!

Milly and Nicole have been friends since childhood but life had taken them different ways and circumstances and secrets had pulled them apart. But when Nicole needs an escape, Milly is their and maybe Milly needs Nicole just as much as Nicole needs her.
This was a heartwarming story about complexities and power of friendship. Predictable, yes. But comforting and worthwhile, feel-good read or listen all the same.

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (3.5 stars)
Other People’s Summers is an emotional story of friendship, betrayal, healing, and hope—set against the picturesque backdrop of an English lakeside resort.
Milly and Nicole have shared a lifelong bond, but a year and a half of silence has left wounds. When Nicole reappears needing support, Milly—despite navigating single motherhood and a recent divorce—welcomes her into her home and heart again.
The audiobook narration by Henrietta Meire was well done—she handled the full cast of characters with clarity and warmth. I especially appreciated how she gave voice to both the emotional weight and lighter moments of the story.
There are themes of grief, renewal, and the strength of female friendship—and a couple of swoony male characters who added a sweet romantic element to Milly and Nicole’s journey.
While the pacing slowed in a few places and some scenes felt a bit underdeveloped, it’s still a touching and hopeful summer story that many will enjoy.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio for this advanced listening copy In exchange for my honest opinion.

This book was just ok for me. I’ve read several of Sarah Morgan’s other books and really enjoyed them, but this one just didn’t keep my attention as well as those did. It has some interesting plot points but for some reason it just didn’t keep me engaged as much as I would have liked.

Other People's Summer by Sarah Morgan is one of those books you can read with a book club of all ages. Sweet and safe, this women's lit examines friendships, family dynamics and forgiveness.
Milly and Nicole were inseparable as teenagers, the best of friends. As early adults their lives took very different turns. Milly, becoming pregnant, married an older man and gained confidence through her husband and mothering. Nicole, with dreams of being a star, headed to the bright lights of a Hollywood lifestyle.
Somewhere along he lines, they lost each other and now, new divorced and out of luck Mily receives a phone call from the celebrity actress she used to call her bestie.
Nicole is struggling too, though we are not sure why, and as the story unfolds and these two find their friendship again, many secrets unfold.
I had the opportunity to listen to a fantastic audio edition of this thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Audio. It was done well and moved quickly, a great women's lit read for lovers of Jodi Picoult and Jojo Moyes.

I am sure this is a delightful read but the narrator wasn’t for me. The author and cover alone will draw people in!

Sarah Morgan’s books are just so wholesome and fun. I love that it’s not just romance but also friend and family love. The relationship between the two best friends is so real and wonderful. I highly enjoyed this book and will continue to read more Sarah Morgan. The narrator was great and brought the story to life.
Thanks to NetGalley, Sarah Morgan and the publisher for an Audio arc in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this audiobook., especially the characters. Millie and Nicole have been friends since childhood and are navigating the ways their relationship has changed in adulthood. I also loved the resort setting. This was a sweet story with humor and heart. And the narrator did such a fantastic job of capturing these characters.

This was the perfect Summer read about friendship and forgiveness.
Millie Beckett and Nicole Raven grew up as best friends in a small resort town.. Nicole is a Hollywood star recently involved in a scandal that forces herr to call newly divorced Millie to hide out in the resort that Millie runs. Since Millie has her own problems and grudges, tensions are high.. When each woman meets a handsome new stranger, these new relationships seem to bring the girls closer.
This delightful novel was enjoyable and great to listen to as an audiobook. The narrator did a wonderful job.

Very cute! I could picture every aspect of this book. The characters, storyline, setting were easy to picture and follow along with. The drama was believable and the reconciliation wasn't too drawn out. Another great Sarah Morgan book.

I love Sarah Morgan's books so I knew I had to read this one. The narrator was easy to listen to and did a good job. This is the perfect summer beach read. It was a comforting and fun read. I really enjoyed the descriptive setting. If you enjoy heartwarming stories about friendship then I highly recommend this story.

Sarah Morgan has always been one of my favorite authors, this was the first audio book of hers that I have listened to. I really enjoyed it. This book is beautifully written and emotionally resonant story about the power of family, friendship, and living in the moment. Milly and Nicole are both compelling characters, but it’s Nanna Peg who truly steals the show with her warmth and wisdom. The story is filled with heartfelt moments and uplifting reminders to appreciate the present and find joy in the everyday. A huge thank you thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to listen to this book.

A lovely story about two childhood best friends that have been physically separated in adulthood through careers, children, and just life, who come back together upon a crossroads in both of their lives. I expected a cute fluffy summery book but this had a lot of depth and emotional moments! If you're looking for a feel-good book where the characters find themselves I would recommend this one! Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an audio copy of this book!
