I have heard so many wonderful reviews about this book, so as a self help book geek I was compelled to read this book. I loved this book. It says, 'Work' but it can apply to your life!! This book can really help you on self search journey! All the best to those who pick up this book to find that special meaning to their work! Thank you Netgalley for this book.

Told both through interpretation of enlightened sharing of wise words and phrases of others and individual examples of taking leaps of faith to follow life dreams and discover lie's purpose, this is a nice introduction to figuring out why one is here and how to find and add meaning or purpose to this life experience.
Two big take aways I got from this book are that sometimes the most important parts if life are the seemingly ordinary parts and that no matter how much value we add to life, we all die with our work unfinished. We have a choice of either abandoning the work, since only so much is possible in one lifetime, or to find a way to pass the work along to be continued and improved upon.

The first part of the book explores ways to identify and prepare for your life's calling and opportunities to enact the work.
The second part gives examples of how others took action and reinforces the need for each of us to make choices and act upon them. That does not mean each choice or action will be flawless.
The final portion of the book explains the need to involve others in your calling, both as mentors and support, and to carry on when your time has run its course.

I did receive a review copy via Netgalley. At the end, after personal acknowledgments and thanks, there is a summary of the seven necessary stages to pursuing a calling.
