What a fantastic conclusion to an exhilarating series!

This third installment delves into the adventures of Cord Westbrook and Annie Lane as they embark on a quest to find the MacKenzie’s Treasure. A series of earthquakes wreaks havoc on the Two Harts Ranch, causing a theft of previously collected treasures. The MacKenzie brothers return, eager to continue their grandfather’s treasure hunt. Two archeologists join them, their true intentions shrouded in doubt, especially from the brothers.

Annie, Cord, the MacKenzie brothers, and the archeologists set out on a perilous journey to find the treasure. Will they succeed? Will the budding feelings between Cord and Annie blossom or will more earthquakes bring unforeseen surprises and danger? You’ll have to read to find out!

I received this book as an Advanced Reader Copy from NetGalley and the Baker House Publisher. However, I was not obligated to write a review. The thoughts expressed are entirely my own and mine alone.

Somehow a treasure hunt turned into so much more. The folks at Two Harts Ranch are ready to set out again after a few small finds at grandpa’s cabin. This time allowing Professor Hardy and his sidekick, Rombauer to join them, even though there is a real sense of distrust for these two. After all, what on earth could go wrong?

An earthquake can change many things. Add a little romance and life begins to look very different for Annie Hart Lane. Throw in a treasure hunt and you are not going to put this story down. An early copy of Gold State Treasure #3 was received through Bethany House Publishers, Baker Publishing Group and NetGalley. These impressions are my own and were in no way solicited.

This one was a blast to read! I didn't like this series at the beginning but if it makes sense I loved this last book in this series!
It sure went out with a bang.
Started in with one too and kept going. I think that's what I really liked about this wonderful adventure. And an adventure it was!!
I finished this in a day because it was so good. I tried to hold off on it but I couldn't help myself.
With the mention of the earthquake I was hooked. I felt every inch of that earthquake too.
It definitely shook our beloved characters up quite a bit too. Especially dear Annie. She my favorite of the bunch by the way. She has a tender and fearful heart just like me!!
The mystery that surrounds this plot was an exciting one. I kept turning the pages to see how this novel would wrap up. I sure wasn't disappointed.
Faith, Love and Hope is the strongest message along the way in this book. Forgiveness too.
I was really pleased with this story.
The cover is the best one in this series too. So beautiful!! Makes u want to know what the characters are running from or to.
Connealy does add her trademark humor in certain spots making me grin from ear to ear.
There's nothing like a Connealy story to make you smile and feel right at home on this awesome ranch.
I definitely hated to see this love story end. Yes, some romance is involved along the way too.
Made me smile with happiness.
Im giving this amazing adventure 5 stars.
Annie and Cord were wonderful characters that I truly enjoyed getting to know as well as their huge family. I felt sad in saying goodbye to them.
My thanks for a copy of this book from Interviews and Reviews via Netgalley from Bethany House.
I highly recommend!
