This story was a lot deeper than what I was expecting. By the name and summary, I was expecting a little forbidden romance with a touch of humor perhaps. I did get the forbidden romance, but there were plot complications and deeper emotions that I didn't anticipate.
I loved the character growth Kennedy goes through in this story. It was very well done, and very believable. The story had some surprises I didn't expect, was at times very romantic, and sad as well. I enjoyed reading this story very much.

An ok read. The game gap of 17 and 25 was a little weird for me. I also didn't really care for the past/present thing. This one didn't grab me.
