Coco Chanel had a hard life, and this biopic is delightful to read.

 Coco Chanel, is a  women that created her own success and lived her life in simply luxury. it did not come easy but she managed to do so with grace and effortless style.

This is a wonderfully written book telling the story of her rise and rise. I loved it

Sweetly-illustrated, here is a short take on the life of Coco Chanel. Famous for her "little black dress" and iconic perfume, Chanel's young years were spent in an orphanage. Drive, ambition, and an opportunistic spirit helped her develop a fashion house and clientele. What is not (understandably) included in this child-friendly version of her life is information about her suspect associations with Germans in Nazi-occupied France, associations that have been chronicled in a documentary and in print in recent years.
