I liked this one I was needing and erotica novel and it definitely delivered. Setta Jay always delivers. The previous one was really good other than he was very possessive. This one he has the tendencies but not really so that was a nice breath of fresh air. I did like the small storrie about Brianne and Vane I like them and think they need each other. The bad side took a hit and there wasn't much forward progression there hopefully they come back to help keep the fight going. That is the only problem on some books is that these are more geared to just having sexy times but I need a little bit of fight or story with the sexy times. I am excited about the next one with the wolf and to see what happens with Brianne and Vane.

Wow. Just wow. This is a great continuation of the Guardians of the Realms series, and just like the preceding volumes, "Denying Ecstasy" is a book that completely sucks the reader in and has them hanging on every word. As usual, the author does a fantastic job of conveying the characters' emotions and making the world and their experiences seem real. For a fantasy genre, that's no small feat to tackle. Rain and Dorian had such a journey!

Obviously, this is an 18+ read. If you were considering starting the Guardians of the Realms series, I highly recommend it. Up to this point, I've seen no sequel slump or decline in overall story quality, which is a problem that plagues many authors. So, if fantasy and erotica are up your alley, then definitely give this a read! It's steamy, fast-paced, and chock full of vibrant characters.

An interesting mix of guilt and wanting that leads to a really enjoyable romance, while still following the familiar storyline. Dare I say they're getting better with each book?

Holy Hot Merman Batman! I freaking love this series! I couldn't put it down! This author has really dug her claws in and hooked me! I love love loved this installment! Dorian, while a total ass at first, turned out to be such a hot, possessive, and loving merman (although they're called something different in this series). Rain was a spitfire and I loved that she didn't just rollover when he came to his senses and decided it was time to claim her. I loved the primary love story, I loved the secondary love story and can't wait to see how that turns out. I was even a little saddened when one of the bad guys met his untimely end. I really can't wait to see how that plays out. And, I so cannot wait to read about Conn! ❤
