Wow. Just wow. This is a great continuation of the Guardians of the Realms series, and just like the preceding volumes, "Denying Ecstasy" is a book that completely sucks the reader in and has them hanging on every word. As usual, the author does a fantastic job of conveying the characters' emotions and making the world and their experiences seem real. For a fantasy genre, that's no small feat to tackle. Rain and Dorian had such a journey! 

Obviously, this is an 18+ read. If you were considering starting the Guardians of the Realms series, I highly recommend it. Up to this point, I've seen no sequel slump or decline in overall story quality, which is a problem that plagues many authors. So, if fantasy and erotica are up your alley, then definitely give this a read! It's steamy, fast-paced, and chock full of vibrant characters.

An interesting mix of guilt and wanting that leads to a really enjoyable romance, while still following the familiar storyline. Dare I say they're getting better with each book?

Holy Hot Merman Batman! I freaking love this series! I couldn't put it down! This author has really dug her claws in and hooked me! I love love loved this installment! Dorian, while a total ass at first, turned out to be such a hot, possessive, and loving merman (although they're called something different in this series). Rain was a spitfire and I loved that she didn't just rollover when he came to his senses and decided it was time to claim her. I loved the primary love story, I loved the secondary love story and can't wait to see how that turns out. I was even a little saddened when one of the bad guys met his untimely end. I really can't wait to see how that plays out. And, I so cannot wait to read about Conn! ❤
