Rebecca Ross does it again with this one. Her writing had me locked in so quickly - with beautiful descriptions of people and place, deep emotion and longing in the MCs, and rich world-building. Matilda is somehow both otherworldly and innocent; her humanity shines, however divine she may be. I adore the unique way that the letter writing that was so core to this world in the duology shows up here. I can already tell I’ll eat up the rest of this story.
Hannah van der Westhuysen does a lovely job in her performance here. I’d previously enjoyed her work in Fear the Flames, and she once again embodies both the FMC’s grit and innocence. I thought she did a nice job handling the other voices. The male narrator also did quite well in Vincent’s POV chapters. I’m excited to hear the rest of their story once this releases.

I totally loved this sneak peek!
Not only is the story interesting, but the way the narrators deliver it is just amazing. I especially liked the changes in cadence the narrator for Matilda did for Bade. I can’t wait to listen to the whole thing!

I was already excited for this book because I absolutely adored Divine Rivals, but now that I’ve had a chance to listen to this sneak peak… I NEED IT! The 18 chapters from the audiobook hooked me right away, I was deeply invested the rest of the way through, and I was dying for more when the sneak peak ended. I do typically love audiobooks, but that will always depend on the narrators - and they deliver in this one!

I didn’t realize this was only 18 chap when requested it but omg so good ! The narration was good too I liked both the male and female narrators . Can’t wait to finish

Thank you so much Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for the sneak peak audiobook. I absolutely loved the narrators. As always Rebecca's writing is beautiful. I love that we get to be back in this world and learn more. I cannot wait to continue!

This was such an amazing start to Wild Reverence. I loved the characters and the narrators did such a good job bringing them to life.
This is such a beautiful and unique story and I can’t wait to continue reading with my ARC!
Thank you NetGalley for this ALC of the start of Wild Reverence in exchange for an honest review.

I highly enjoyed the sneak peek of this audio and will definitely be purchasing this. The narrators were fantastic and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. I wish I had the entire ALC to listen to but the rest of the book was just as good.

The narrators are amazing!! Having a male narrator for Vincent was such a great call and I love the female narrator so much. It adds such a touch of magic to the storytelling and I can’t wait to fully listen to it when it releases. Now to fishing the rest of the book!

Wow, I had such an amazing time listening to this sneak peak. This is my first ever Rebecca Ross book and I have been missing out. I am impatiently waiting for this to release to be able to continue on with the story and in the mean time I may just pick up Divine Rival to tided me over. The narrator of the story made the listening experience even better it gave the story a very whimsical storybook like feeling. Because I've never read from Rebecca Ross before I obviously had no idea this was a prequel but don't let that deter you I was able to get immersed into the story just fine. And as I was listening I kept thinking "this reads like in a fantasy novel when they are telling stories about the old gods, but we're just getting that POV ourselves" and it low key was exactly that.

I was given an ARC of this book and had to give this sneak peek a try! It was just what I needed to get me hooked on the book! I can’t wait to keep reading.
The narrator was a perfect match for Matilda — her voice captured the character just as I imagined. I also loved that the story is told through dual POVs; it added such depth and kept things even more engaging.
Huge thanks to NetGalley for early access to this audiobook!

I received a sneak peek of this book and it has me so intrigued on where this story is going.
The writing style is very lyrical and heartfelt.
The narrators voice was very soothing.
I’ll have to finish the book when it comes out!

While I’ve already been blessed with an arc of Wild Reverence, and absolutely loved it, I jumped at the chance to listen to the audiobook sneak peak.
The narrators, especially Hannah van der Westhuysen, are simply perfect!!! Exactly how I heard these characters in my head when reading. They bring the book to life and I cannot wait to hear it in full on September 2nd!
Thank you so much to Netgalley and Macmillan Audio for this extended sneak peek ALC!

An absolute masterpiece, from the world building to getting to know Matilda and Vincent. The dual narration is impeccably done, once again feeling enraptured with listening to Ross's words. I have already shed some tears in the first 18 chapters and excited to see what the rest holds. Thank you very much to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for an extended sneak peek ALC! Grateful to had listened to Act One early.

I listened to the Letters of Enchantment duology via audiobook and it made the experience amazing for me. I really enjoyed this sneak peek and cannot wait to listen to the full novel!!
the narrator is perfect. Her voice is soft and fits so perfectly with the story from the sneak peek.
I cannot wait to listen this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wish I had it now

Thank you very much for the ARC of the first 18 chapters, which helped me realize that this book just isn’t for me. I was hoping for something like "Divine Rivals" , but it feels more like yet another mythology retelling. Sorry, but it didn’t resonate with me.

Although this was only a glimpse of the full audiobook, it went by far too quickly. Thankfully, I also have an advanced copy of the e-book, so I don’t have to anxiously await publication before finishing this story, THANK GOD. I am but a mortal, and this mortal NEEDS to know how it all ends.
The audio is a duet (my absolute favorite!), and the narrators do an impeccable job of breathing life into their characters.
Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for this advanced listening copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book is beautiful. And the audiobook matches perfectly. I feel cheated a little with this only being a sneak peak because of how perfect it is!

Did not listen as this was only part of the book and i was not going to listen to only a portion of the book. But the narrator sounded great!

I started reading the e-book and wanted to give this audio sneak peek a try and the narrator is SPOT on what I was imagining in my head. She is incredible and this story is simply perfection.
I love Rebecca Ross’s writing so much. The way she uses to describe things is beautiful. I feel so immersed.
I can’t wait to listen to the full audio book.
Thank you so much for this sneak peek.

Even though I JUST finished my early reader copy of Wild Reverence over the weekend, I HAD to give this audiobook sneak peek a listen! The voice actor for Matilda is spot-on for how I imagined her voice in my mind. Her enunciation and cadence are perfect, transporting the listener into the minds and emotions of the characters in the moment. I was also pleasantly surprised that this was a duet! Vincent's voice actor was PERFECT, and he is even more attractive of a character in audio version.
Thank you for access to this early audiobook!
