This is an excellent, fast-paced, gripping suspense/adventure novel. Jammer Davis, an aircraft disaster investigator, is permitted by an old friend to join the investigation into a small aircraft crash in Columbia. "Permitted" is a relative term because Jammer has a personal interest in this case, his daughter, headed for a semester abroad, was aboard the plane, and nothing/no one can keep him away. The details of air-craft disaster investigation are fascinating, and Jammer's attempts to keep himself in check and remain professional while his anxiety about his daughter is sky-high are admirable and very believable. Davis quickly learns that things are not what they seem to be, and that the US government as well as several Columbian agencies are involved as well. Larsen fills the story with twists, turns and surprises until the satisfying end.

I enjoyed this book so much that I look forward to reading Larsen's previous works. Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and Oceanview Publishing for giving me a chance to read and review this fine book!
