One Night with the Billionaire has hot chemistry and two engaging, likable leads. Zoe is a disillusioned ex-fiancée of a cheating politician who needs to get away from the scandal, so takes up her friend's offer to get away from it all and heads to a private resort owned by someone she and her friend had gone to high school with. Imagine her surprise when she finds the owner of the resort is her teenaged crush, Ryder. That they fall into each other is inevitable, and the sparks are flying all over the place. But, Ryder has a secret that could destroy their burgeoning relationship, and when Zoe finds out, it could be the end of them, and of everything Ryder's worked so hard to achieve since he last saw Zoe.
I really like both Zoe and Ryder, individually and together. They're both sweet, and their chemistry is seriously hot. I like that Ryder's brand of billionaire isn't the typical cold, arrogant shark of the boardroom and bedroom. He's down to earth and funny, and is just glad to be able to spend time with the woman he's had a crush on for years. Zoe is perfect for Ryder, strong and smart, and her teenaged crush is evolving into so much more.
If you like your billionaire stories that take place outside of the boardroom, then One Night with the Billionaire should be on your TBR list.
