I wish to thank netgalley for my free kindle copy. If this was an autobiography I would of rated it as higher. Joan had a tragic story to tell but we are not all born as writers and that is why sometimes stories need to be told by others. I expected more from someone wanting to become a published writer. I found the text simple and towards the end I lost a lot of interest. I understand that Joan got through her experience with God in her life but the last chapters were more preachy and not needed in the narrative.
