I enjoyed The Squandered, the third of David Putnam’s Bruno Johnson thrillers

This is a fabulous police suspense story, Bruno has a life that is varied n every aspect, and he is a compassionate character.

This is a pacy read with kidnapping, violence, drug gangs, murder, and, stolen diamonds, and the plot is amazing and the writing superb. It has all the drama and many twists.

Solid entertaining escapist reading.  

Likable characters & good pacing.  Maybe it was just my mood at the time, but I found most of the action really stretching the limits of credibility.

Nothing really new.  Another disgraced cop who wants to be a hero.   I would read additional books by this author if I tripped over them but doubt I would seek the out.
