After reading a few chapters, I decided this book held no interest for me at this time nor was it a good fit for my blog.  I elected not to finish the book now, but it may well be a case of "the wrong book at the wrong time" syndrome and I might be willing to try it again in the future.  Thank you to PENGUIN GROUP Dutton and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to sample this title.

I posted my review on Goodreads, but the gist is this: the book is fantastic. Carroll is a very good writer who is clear and explains so well. I enjoyed reading the whole thing. Highly recommended.

I really wanted to enjoy this book. I did give the book several chances to fully engage me. I liked the author's casual, conversational tone and pop culture references in part. However the main bulk of the book's content flew over my head.  I think that it was a good attempt both on my part and the author's to understand the meaning presented, it's just that this book is not for me.
