And the fun is back!
Al and Millie are on the renovations of their new home, but it IS more difficult than Millie thought (Al was sure it would be like that); the fight about the painting of the water tower is not finished; the father of Susan Jeffries is as intimidating as ever and the baseball game against the neighboring city seems impossible to win. And THAT impossible Franklin!
But! This smalltown is so charming that even the impossible (or almost) can happen.

I thoroughly enjoyed this quick, lovely read. Funny, witty (which dooes not mean silly) and refreshing like a glass of cold water on the hot day. And this is not a small accomplishment.

This is the second book in a series and is just as good as the first. I'm from Kentucky, so I enjoyed reading about familiar towns and terrains. The fictional development of small town Goose Creek is spot on, with likeable characters. A great read and would highly recommend!
