The Highland Guard series by Monica McCarty is soooo good! The characters and the research and the writing make it a joy to read. If you are a fan of Braveheart and Outlander you simply MUST read this 12 book (plus novellas) series. I have really enjoyed each book and this copy provided to me by NetGalley and Pocket Books certainly didn’t disappoint.
