I like this kind of books. It tells a bit about the past, a bit about the future and of course the main parts is about what happens now in the lives of the main characters. The picture on the cover feels like Tessa is a retro girl but I think she is a very modern woman who has found her way to make her dream come true. She is happy in her professional life and in her private life even though she has no significant other. So everything is perfect or so it seems untill she runs into ... her stranger. Was she not as happy as she thought? Or does she keep on protecting her heart and does she listen to what her brain tells her to do? Or does she take the risk?
Life is often about choices but sometimes it's only afterwards you know if you took the right or the wrong turn. Was it Tessa's heart or mind who showed her the way?
