Enjoyable continuation from O'Connells pov. A little repetitive at times but still holds up. I love this couple and how strong their love is. I love how much the hero showed his love. Sometimes tho, he just did not think and acted like a man who did not understand a woman,

The Aftermath...utterly thrilling, achingly addictive and stunningly sexy. The second installment told purely from O'Connell's POV has some  similarities to the Rocky films - which I adore - and in turn left me gasping for breath, burning up and swooning like crazy! The passion and devotion that pours out of this book is so powerful its hard not to fall in love with it. And for an old school boxing fan this series does everything right! 
Once again R.J Prescott left me totally spellbound with her story writing. Her ability to pull a reader so deep into the story is relentless, yet so enjoyable. As with book one I was taken on a glorious emotional journey that gripped my heart and blew my mind. Emily secured a long lasting place in my heart with her fight, resilience and love despite the devastating things she has to endure in this book! Again the strong, sexy and sinful Cormac O'Connell proved to be the most amazing man! His way with words melted my heart and panties at the same time! 
Prescott also has a way of connecting the reader to the secondary characters too. I want Kieran & Tommy to have books, desperately! I love them.
This hard hitting book deserves way more than 5 stars!! I have fallen in love with R.J Prescott's work and look forward to her future releases.
