There's something so unique and powerful about storytelling through stick figures. Maybe it's because they are ways we all grew up telling stories? But this adds so much to this story. I always think there's such power in being willing to tell your story via a memoir, especially when it involves some "tough stuff." This is definitely that, but it's done in a way that blends honestly and humor so very well.
