This book is really quite funy. But what I like the most is that author Torry Martin is very vulnerable here, sharing his true self, including his own failures, funny and even embarrasing moments for all to see - to see that God love us exactly the way we are. Author himself admits he has some kind of social phobia, which akes this soul-baring honesty even more precious.

Sure, the writing could use an experienced editor for some polishing. Yes, some of the short devotionals at the end of the chapters are too word-to-word explaining (but this is my personal preference).
Yet such frankness and vulnerability are very precious.

After reading a few chapters, I decided this book held no interest for me at this time nor was it a good fit for my blog. I elected not to finish the book now, but it may well be a case of "the right book at the wrong time" syndrome and I might be willing to try it again in the future. Thank you to Harvest House Publishers and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to sample this title.
