This beautifully illustrated book is a collection of poems related to shapes and patterns. I really liked calm and soothing pastel shades of the artwork. The patchwork style of the paper-torn illustrations will definitely appeal to children, who can create their own collages based on the concepts covered in the book. The poems help children develop their phonological awareness, which is very important for early readers.
