Not sure whether to give three or four stars - mostly the book was okay, although not outstanding. But Andrew was just very annoying, which did drag the book down a bit. the characterisation of the teenagers was good.

Sadly I couldn't finish this - I didn't find myself attached to any of the characters. I can't even really remember what the plotlines were.

Really enjoyable read. Good characters and a Good story. Well worth a read. Think others will. Enjoy

This sort of novel is probably better if you have any similarities of background or tastes of the lead characters.

American women attending a book club and connections to a now defunct band, a deceased singer and the daughter and a son of these are interwoven into an evocative story but I found it really hard to care. No doubt if one has lived through something similar it would make a difference
