Great idea and concept for a book. A thoroughly enjoyable read. Highly recommended. .

Really great read and thank you Netgalley for letting me have an arc.

This is an incredibly moving book written from two perspectives by the protagonists in a relationship complicated by addiction and imprisonment. A unique portrayal of a very personal struggle for two people. Loved the way you get both of their perspectives. You find out how graham felt (when Susan didn't because of his incarceration) and how Susan felt (when Graham didn't ). An incredibly honest, gut wrenching story about addiction, compassion, politics and love. Highly recommend this book not only to people who have experience of addiction but more importantly for those with no experience of addiction or incarceration. An eye opener about deportation policy, rehabilitation opportunities and very personal, emotional struggle.

Must have been a very difficult book for them to write as it is brutal in its honesty.

Highly recommend this book, couldn't put it down.

After reading a few chapters, I decided this book held no interest for me at this time nor was it a good fit for my blog. I elected not to finish the book now, but it may well be a case of "the wrong book at the wrong time" syndrome and I might be willing to try it again in the future. Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine Books and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to sample this title.
