This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. The side characters were such an integral part of this story as well. This is the love story i needed to read at this time. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you

I just wasn’t impressed with this as much as I thought I would be. I’ve been a fan of Robert’s other books but this one just wasn’t all that interesting.

So I sort of entered in to a series on book 3...  AGAIN... which I keep saying I won't do but then keep doing over..  over.. and over again....  Yeah, well in this case I quite enjoyed the book and didn't feel like I was lost so am glad that I did it!

Olivia isn't looking for a man nor does she want any trouble but she is drawn to a man that embodies trouble by virtue of his last name.  She's hiding from her past and wants nothing more than to raise her daughter away from the family business but she can't quite escape.  She's drawn to a man who she should dislike, perhaps even hate, but the chemistry between them cannot be denied.  She tells herself only this one time nothing more but there is something about the way he behaves that makes her crave more of him.  I liked her even as she was fighting her attraction for him but especially liked that she listened to her heart and mind versus trying to take everything on herself.  She's smart and that is something that isn't the norm with heroines of many mob related rom-susp books.  I appreciated that she struggled but also appreciated that she trusted him even though she barely knew him.

Cillian was something else.  He's at a huge crossroads in his life after the death of one of his brothers.  He's still struggling with what happened and that has led him to make many changes in his life which includes giving up alcohol and partying like he used to.  He finds himself drawn to Olivia and after their first scorching encounter he can't seem to shake the need to be with her.  He proves himself so quickly to be there for her even at the expense of his family but this is a good thing.  I loved how growly he could get but also his ability to just be there for the woman that he knows is his.

The story moves quickly but it kept me interested as I enjoyed seeing two damaged people find one another.

I really enjoyed this. It had really likable characters, great romance and a good plot. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

I'm most looking forward for Dmitri and Keira's book.

Ok. So confession time *hides.

This was my first book from Katee. And yes I know it's like book 3 or 4 in the series. And I'm totally crazy for starting with it.

But man I seriously loved this book!

It was so great. And dang were there some sexy characters in this book.
Plus the plot itself was fantastic.
Katee sure does know how to write a great crime family series.
She leaves us with so much suspense and thrill, while offering that great build up and tension to the steamy romance.

I couldn't put this one down when I started, and I can't wait to go back and read the first books from the series if it means getting more of the O'Malleys
*swoon*

I’d been worried about Cillian. So lost and so hurt. Olivia’s been carrying around her own pain. Who better to understand the trials and tribulation associated with being a member of a mob family than a bird strutting around with the same feathers?
Both are so troubled it’s a surprise that they could be of any use to anyone else, let alone each other. However, throw some hot sex in the mix; and the mystery is solved. They wanted each other in a primal way. Neither was in a position emotionally to handle anything more than sowing some wild oats. They were both on the same page,- or shall I say up against the same brick wall- so why the hell not?
Oh, because Cillian wants a little more than a just a dunk of his junk, so he is forced to stand his ground. Olivia bothered me a little at first. I understood her hesitancy; but she took it a little too far – just for a moment. Thankfully, she quickly returned to my good graces. I can’t enjoy a book when I dislike one of the main characters. I do like that she was strong and went after what she wanted. She was also a really great mother. I did feel bad for her being in the situation she was in, though. Just like I do with all the H/H in the series. Cillian’s behavior was a pleasant surprise. Of course readers get a taste of him in the previous books, but I had been on the fence about how I felt about him. I knew I’d grow to love him though, once I got to his story. And I was right. He’s a sweetie, which is probably a strange thing to say about someone in his occupation. But hey, that’s the way the series goes. You don’t love to hate them, you just love them.
There was more to deal with than just the usual family drama. Baby daddy just wasn’t right. Shame, shame, and more shame. Bad, bad, daddy.
And on a different note, Dmitri (the trouble-maker from The Wedding Pact) birthed a human chromosome or two. Talk about a jaw-dropper. The slight shift in his behavior makes me wonder if I’m about to like him. We shall soon find out, because I’m definitely going to continue with the series.

Another solid entry from Katee Robert in her O'Malley family series. This time focused on Cillian, the brother everyone still sees as the party boy screw up. But Cillian hasn't been that guy since the death of his younger brother rocked his world. Enter Olivia Rashidi, the mysterious tough as nails bartender at Cillian s favorite haunt. She may be intrigued by the man but she knows trouble when she sees it. Too bad neither of them can stay away.

Indecent Proposal is all the things I love from Katee in this series. Hot alpha males. Tough as nails heroines. Danger and dramas amidst the mafia underworld. Steamy goodness from couples with unmitigated chemistry. And always leaving us with a tease of what's to come.
