Owen and Liv are both interested in purchasing a Ducati Pantah 650, but for different reasons. Owen likes to collect rare things, and this bike fits that. Liv wants it because it used to belong to her brother, who was forced to sell it. He has since died, and Liv and his significant other want to honor his memory with one final ride on that bike.

There are terms and phrases that may be unfamiliar to readers who aren’t from Australia, but there are clues to help the reader figure them out. This is a short story with a lot packed into it. The romance seemed to take off rather quickly and there is a question about what happened to the note that never gets answered. The flowers withered rather quickly as well, especially considering that the story takes place during winter, which should cause the flowers to last longer. The conflicts are clear, as are each main character’s motivations. The story flows fairly fast, and there is a bit of redemption at the end.

Due to family commitments, I have been unable to read this book. I thank you for the provision of it, and if I get to it in the future, I will make sure to leave public reviews on Goodreads and my personal blog. Again, apologies and thanks.

I have read books by this author before but I just didn't like this one. The story seemed good but upon starting to read it was not as great.
