I Loved this Book So Much. I Could Hardly Put it Down. It was Amazing and I Highly Recommend it to all the Readers.
A Must read. Really good.

Fate. Hate. Love. Lies.
Which four letter word will change their lives forever?
Sydney Paige was never so mortified to hear the words "wrong number" in her life. She meant to tell off the guy who broke her best friend's heart but unleashed her anger on a perfect stranger instead. And now her world is turned upside down by the captivating man who wants to keep her on the line.
Brian Savage is living a life he's quickly come to hate-until Sydney's wild rant has him hooked and hungry for more. Soon the sexy woman on the phone becomes the lover in his bed. But Brian has secrets, and the closer he lets Syd get, the harder it is to shield her from the devastating mistakes of his past.
Four Letter Word was probably my favorite book in the Dirty Deeds series by J. Daniels. Brian Savage was worth the read. This book was hot! I recommend anything written by J. Daniels!

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review Four Letter Word. Unfortunately, I was unable to get into this book and did not finish it. I won't be rating or reviewing at this time.

Thank You for the opportunity to review this book. Sorry, I attempted to read this book. However, I couldn't get in to it. So, I was unable to finish reading and reviewing it.

I really really really liked this book.
I knew from the description that I would enjoy this book. it just had the cutest plot line with the girl accidentally calling the wrong guy and all. I'm a real sucker for the texting/phone calling stories. Maybe because as sucky as my relationship eventually turned out. I had one of the best long distance relationships doing just that, while things were still good.
I find it so much more intimate when characters get to know each other before actually meeting. it stripes them bare and let's each get to know the other based on their personalities and really on a soul deep level. (because after all this is a novel so of course none of them are creepy creeps pretending to be someone they aren't)
plus Brian and Sydney were 2 great characters. both of them experienced some sort of brokenness in their life, and once again. I find myself a total sucker for the broken characters that need to be fixed.
this story left me wanting to cry, wanting to cheer these 2 on, wanting to smack some heads even. but the most important thing was I wanted these 2 to find happiness.
I loved both of the trials these 2 were put through. as heart breaking as they were for different reasons, I think those things are what really brought these 2 souls together. to be able to try and heal the hurt. and not just by the romantic stuff I'm sure all of you are thinking. to heal heart deep. or at least try to.
but it wasn't Brian and Sydney and what they went though that free me to this book either. it was all the additional characters too.
I found myself loving Jamie and Tori and all the other girls from Whitecaps and Cole from Wax. they gave this story so much more dimension. allowing both main characters to show sides of themselves they may not have if not pushed by those caring friends.
just this whole story in general was beautiful. and so so sexy. I loved the toe curling romance so much. Brain was a bit domineering and yet a complete sweetheart. and they way him and Sydney would pull these new feelings and emotions from each other was seriously sweet as heck.
FOUR LETTER WORD was absolutely fantastic and without a second thought, give it a huge
*****5 STARS*****

A fun and interesting premise! I love the alpha male characters, and Daniels wrote a great one here! Looking forward to more from this series.

4 stars!
Wow! This book came out of nowhere and surprised the daylights out of me. Here I thought I was going to reading a quick, steamy, and lighthearted romance, and instead I got THIS. Four-Letter Word was anything but lighthearted. This is a romance filled with so much angst that your heart hurts for a great portion of the book.
Brian and Sydney have an unlikely romance in the fact that they meet after Sydney accidently calls the wrong number. Her intent is to unleash her fury on her best friend’s ex-boyfriend who has just broken her friends heart. She dials the number and when “he” answers, she does just that. Unfortunately, or in this case luckily, she misdials and actually unleashes on Brian, whom she has never met. This strange phone call begins an unlikely friendship that becomes vital to both of them. However, many barriers stand in the way of this couple actually meeting face to face, and they don’t officially meet until almost the halfway point of the book. Strangely, this makes for the development of a true friendship and the beginnings of true love. Thankfully, the scene in which they finally come face to face is worth the read in and of itself, and sets up some very steamy pages!!
Brian will break your heart. He lives with such self-hatred and guilt. His actions are understandable and yet are very self-sacrificing. His shame permeates the decisions that he makes and almost costs him his relationship with Sydney.
I went through so many emotions while reading this book, but mostly, I finished it just feeling thankful. I was thankful that Brian and Sydney found one another. Brian was on a path to total self-destruction and the destined entry of Sydney into his life was exactly what he needed to get honest with himself about his past and present, and the decisions that defined both.
This is a beautiful story of redemption, forgiveness, and new beginnings. I only marked off one star because of the way that Sydney initially reacts to Brian’s secret. Maybe it was because of how invested I was in Brian, but I wished that she could’ve handled the truth with more listening and trying to understand the reasons behind it.
Overall, Four-Letter Word is a very beautiful love story.

J Daniels is now an author I will pick up and read just by seeing her name alone. This was a quirky story about getting the phone number wrong and texting the wrong person, but it being the beast thing you have ever done.
Sure, there are some things in the story that maybe a turn off (Sydney is technically still married) but if you give it a chance, you will not be disappointed!
Overall, I enjoyed it.

Four Letter Word boarders on ‘okay’ and ‘good’.
Positives
I love the beach town setting, and the restaurant the girls worked at.
I love great solid friendships. Tori and Sydney are super supportive and are willing to break laws for each other. Now that’s friendship. The guys too. I rather enjoy it when guys give each other crap.
Negatives
I need to feel something when I read, especially when it comes to romance, but I honestly didn’t feel any emotions while reading this. I eventually started skimming.
The way they talked bugged me, especially Brian. Also, way too much “babe”. Blah!
I had to suspend logical thinking at times and just ride the fiction train.

LOVE. FATE. HOTT. WILD. SEXY.
Those are the words that explain this book completely.
This book definitely put me through the ringer. WOW. I felt every single thing these characters went through. Their ups, their downs and everything in between. And I loved every damn bit of it!!
I loved the premise of this book. Everything starts off with one phone. One wrong number. No one could have predicted what transpired after that. The texts, the comfort they brought.
Syd is beginning a new chapter in life. She’s trying to find the Sydney she left behind years ago. Her best friend Tori is there like she has always been. And these two I just love – their friendship is tight.
Brian is trying to get past some rough spots in his life. He hides a lot from everyone in his life. He only lets them know what he feels they need to know. And he refuses to let anyone help him along the way.
I couldn’t get enough of these two. They knew exactly how to push the other without realizing it. They both have strong personalities. Brian is very much an alpha guy. Sydney is independent and not afraid to speak her mind.
I loved every aspect of this book. Except wanting more and more of them. LOL And I am pretty sure we will get a little bit more in the next book. And I truly can’t wait for the next book because I know that will be an explosive one!
And apparently I have been living under a rock because this is the first book I have read by J. Daniels. Seriously, what I have not read anything by her before?? I truly must fix that and pronto!!
If you are like me and have not read anything by her, this is the perfect book to read and get hooked on her writing immediately. For those of you who have read her, I think you will be blown away with this book.
